Isn't there also a 2017 drama version? Saw the poster on Netflix
https://www.netflix.com/title/81033490
"Sinful priest" & "up-skirt photography" aren't the keywords I'm too eager about -___-"
but I kinda want to see how Nissy acts ughhh....Can anyone confirm if it's watchable i.e not sleazy? (and add the drama to MDL database, too)

Is Lee Jong Suk a good actor? I've seen his face all over Netflix lately XD (but I don't think I've watched any of his works).

Title The Story of Ming Lan Spoiler
In the novel, Minglan transmigrated from the future. So you can imagine how much changes they have to do incorporating…
Hmmm I see...I guess that's to be expected considering China's (ridiculous) ban on time travel dramas. Then again I'm not a fan of the theme either so that's fine. Thank you for the info!!

Does anyone know any other good shows with IT/entrepreneurship/office culture theme? I'm talking smart, reasonable plots with decent acting.
Chinese or Japanese or Korean dramas/movies are all welcome!

For folks who have read the novel:
- How closely does the drama follow the novel?
- Is the novel well-written? It looks reaaaally long so I'm wondering if it's worth the time?

I wish I had faith that the female lead would be strong and interesting, but seeing as she's a maidservant there…
The FL doesn’t know martial arts or whatever but mentally she can be stronger than the ML sometimes (most of the time?). She’s definitely among the more level-headed & decisive female protagonists out there.
But that’s just the novel, we don’t know how the drama will turn out since it’ll depend on the screenwriters’ scripts and the actors’ ability.

Apologies but is this a SE? Thank you for any information you can get. I don't mind a spoiler!
Yes I cried buckets over it. There are silver linings but still, definitely NOT a happy ending.

Title Hiyokko
They're "morning series", which are all 15 minutes long. An average -normal- Japanese series is 10-11 episodes…
Oh I see....Makes sense then. I thought it'd be 40-60 min/ep like the average Asian series. Phew ^^"
