Amazing. This is trending on Mydramalist. Thanks to Adam Uni and other fan pages keep hyping this show. This show deserves the hype.

They only give the license to Taiwan to show this drama outside Japan but it just blows up in China because of the pirated version online. People are loving it. However, as everybody can expect, some ignorant Chinese start to dig the main leads' past, especially Machida Keita…'cuz he once visited Yasukuni Shrine and it's a big no to mainland Chinese due to historical reason, even Justin Bieber got attacked by the Chinese in the past for the same reason. Just look at what BTS's got from the Chinese recently…

Japan really needs to promote their shows internationally. So underrated.

This deserves to have a score more than 9. If some overrated Thai dramas can have 9 since the first ep, this deserves to have a 10.

I have to agree. It has potential to be my favorite BL this year. Everrything is on point in the first ep.

It hit no. 1 on box office in Taiwan on the first day of its release. It's likely to become the highest grossing Taiwanese film this year.

It's the same title as the film title and I think the only available version is the original Chinese version that was released not long ago. The novel version was based on the original script and they extended it with more details. International fans have to wait for people to translate it in the future.

But many still think it's a great film. I' haven't watch it but I'm still excited even reading the reveiws beforehand.

But it has mixed reviews with the general audience, especially for the ending part. Though it's not a sad ending, people think it's kind of cringe with the way they end it.

With only limited pre-release these two days in Taiwan, it skyrocked to No. 3 on the ranking of Box Office in Taiwan. Also, maybe due to the way of promotion and the direction of the trailer, 80% of the audience are males. Not BL fandom-oriented for sure.

They usually released the DVD after a year of the release in theaters if the film was popular. Just be prepared for it like Ossan's Love's DVD if it's popular in Taiwan.

I'm so happy this won best drama this year just like The World Between Us last year. Two masterpieces from Taiwan. These two beat the hell out of all the Chinese dramas on Douban these two years with the rating, not to mention that SOOD even broke into Korea market. People really should check it out.

Because they have better production with editing and OST.

My heart is more like a bl for sure. With the cutesy plot and setting, it's like a typical straight cute drama changed with two boys.

WYEL is more mature and realistic but it's not that magical imo. I've watched tons of gay / bl dramas and films and WYEL is probably in the middle of my ranking.
