I had it on my on hold list for so long because I just couldn't get myself to watch it. Then last year I opened it again and tried to watch but it didn't give that vibe. Several actors were changed which really killed that particular vibe, the main game on which S1 was based CTF, was changed, the set was changed and so many other things. The whole Solo Team, Solo, Appledog, Xiaomi, All, they all obviously were older and were perfectly portrayed in S1. But it was literally the opposite here, all of them looked so young. Ok I get it, you changed Appledog but what about the others. S1 had it's own feeling of friendship and camaraderie. The characters really were so close to each other, they understood and supported each other all through their ups and downs but here? duh. I don't know about the leads but the friends had absolutely no chemistry. Grunt as if had a complete change of character (not just the actor). I don't know why he kinda was like competitive at the start and even called Han Shangyan by his name instead of 'boss'. He was younger obviously in the first season and in this one, it was as if he was older. I eventually dropped it by just and just watching Han Shangyan, Tong Nian and their related scenes. They were the reason I gave it even a '8.5' or otherwise it was really boring, killed the vibe.

I guess having concubines is a very bad thing nowadays, like having more than 1 partner is ultimately cheating then why does that time not have a problem with it?? Men were normal about having 3-4 concubines but even women didn't say anything, they were like it's so normal and some kinda tradition. Why???? This is something that has bothered me a lot throughout the drama
Part 2 will have even more intimate scenes as long as I know because some behind the scenes footage were out while they were shooting, they were walking hand in hand and even kissed. Also when you watch the trailer, there are a lot of things not yet shown so.
Even though a few of the cast members are mentioned here on the upper side of this mdl page, they didn't have that much role. For example Xiao Xuexi, she only had one scene and then Huangfu Lingge also had a few scenes. Is it because they're going to have more scenes in part two??
