Title Koe Koi
this was a cute school drama, the leads and side characters were all fitting and likeable, there was no character that I hated which is a big plus, there was also no unnecessary drama or evil added and it was still interesting to watch, the plot is refreshing, and once you start you'll watch the 12 episodes in no time, it's nice

I can't even watch 15+ episode long and 1hour per episode kdramas because I always feel like wasting my precious time so that's why I rarely watch kdramas and stick to my 10episode jdramas for me jdramas have the perfect length and I don't feel like wasting time, also most kdrama plots would be better off with 10 episodes too instead of dragging the plot and adding unnecessary annoying drama to it.

the only good thing of this drama is the male lead, because he's handsome and funny, the female lead on the other hand was annoying

I suggest everyone to watch the drama version instead of wasting your time with this movie, I don't understand the reviews rating this movie with a 10, because this definitely wasn't a 10, more like a 6 or lower. If I hadn't watched the drama version before watching this, I would've never understood what was going on, also there was a lack of emotion and basically no interaction between the leads.
So yeah do yourself a favour and watch the Drama Byakuyako 2006 if you want to watch something good because the story is totally worth it.

Tamaki Hiroshi as Chiaki senpai was my first jdrama love, I don't think any other actor could be more fitting for this role and more handsome than him at that time lol
Hana yori dango was more enjoyable than the korean version because the cast was perfect and the japanese female lead was not as annoying as the korean female lead.
Fated to love you (korean version) was quite nice because like you wrote the male lead is kind and funny so huge plus points,
I sadly could never get into Itazura na kiss love in Tokyo because the leads look like 12yr olds and I don't feel like watching the korean version.

I can only talk about healer since that's the only one I watched, and even tho I quite liked it, I don't think the plot is unique or interesting enough to get a remake, it's actually the typical k-romance-drama, no real twists, nothing unexpected, love comes too quickly but what I'd like to see is a jdrama version of this, it would probably be really nice

I don't understand shonen live actions, why is there a need for that, and why of all actors, someone as bland as fukushi sota, I like him but please lol

I love your writing style, thumbs up for that :D
Anyway, I agree with BOF and Heirs, actually BOF was one of the first asian dramas I've ever watched and so I actually did enjoy it lol but right now after watching quite some stuff I'd probably hate it and drop it after the first episode.
Some time later, I tried to give Heirs a chance because it was so popular and seemed like BOF but because I already watched a ton of good dramas at this point, I couldn't even get past the first episode because it was cringy and annoying to no end, so my conclusion is that to some those dramas may seem like the best because they've just not seen any good ones so far lol

I feel like this drama is a good example of how japan does romance dramas, no forced romance but with a nice pace, lovely main and side characters, the comedy is gold, I really enjoyed this drama, totally recommended :D
