I have a hard time pin-pointing exactly when it was that Ji Hun fell for Sam Soon. I mean, I remember the episode but...ugh how can I explain it? You know that moment where a couple starts to just give off this "frisson" and you're like "Ohhhhh you likey". LOL. I just felt like the love he had for Hee Jin seemed greater than his relationship with Sam Soon. I disliked her being there and just when I thought he was falling for Sam Soon he goes off to Hee Jin's side in a heartbeat. I tried my best to be understanding, really I did. But even to the end he disappointed me not only for CHOOSING to go with Hee Jin back to America but also for breaking his promise and staying there for longer than necessary.

I know they were going for a realistic, modern love story and I appreciate that! But the hopeless romantic in me would like to see some more heartfelt confessions from Ji Hun. >.<

And did you hear what she said to Henry?! THIS GIRL!!! "Why can't you stay and wait for me to finish my studies(before you go off and fulfill your dreams)". LEAVE HER HENRY. Get yourself another Korean girl. Maybe Sam Soon's sister? Lol.

OVERALL, I thought this drama was so well acted, well-written and Kim Sun Ah was the true driving force behind it all. I loved everything about her character. EVERYTHING. She thinks and acts like any modern woman. She's kind when she needs to be and cruel when she wants to be. The way she rationalizes through complicated situations all while maintaining her composure is admirable. Like I said before, I connected with her feelings more than any other female lead in a drama. The characters are so lovable and witty and the story over all was at a good pace and never rushed. My only problems were Ji- Hun and his relationship with Hee-Jin.

Before I give you my overall impression, I'd like to address some issues I had with the final episode.

I'll get right to the point. Ji Hun sucks. Time and time again his character has just gotten under my skin and I've been disappointed with him NUMEROUS times throughout the drama. I did NOT care for his excuse in leaving her for two months. So what if he sent post cards?! He MADE A PROMISE and didn't keep it. He said ONE WEEK! ARGH! "Oh I needed some time to think and I missed you the whole time." Puh-leease, boy. Give me a break. I was happy to see Sam Soon not give in to him so easily once he returned but still, I was expecting a much BETTER excuse than what he gave and all of this is because of that witch Hee Jin! Who IS STILL has her butt in their relationship 2 months later. Seriously...you have the audacity to call her and say thank you?! Get outta here with that mess! Ugh.

Sexual violence or ANY type of violence against a woman is something I can't tolerate and the fact that you said that has really diminished any flutter of interest I had left in it now. Lol. I mean, I was never really drawn to it to begin with so meh. The movie looked so creepy.

I agree. My desire for mangas only come in short bursts now. I had stopped reading them when I was around 16 or so. Then I turned to Boys Over Flowers during my lonely first year of college and it has been my all time fav since. :P Hana Kimi (I'm so nervous about the k-drama) Fruits Basket, Ouran High School are some other good ones.
