It took me 8 days to finish this! Practically had no sleep and just mind-floating during work time. LOL. I rated it at the beginning as 7 coz although I can tell everyone is good and even the production, the manor harem drama isn't for me. I persevered because almost everyone here has sung praises for it. By episode 23, it picked up and by the ending, it's an easy 10 for me. What a more beautiful and colorful life Ming Lan has after she married! BANDITS, IMPERIAL POWER STRUGGLE AND MORE?! Woah, woah and woah!

Wouldn't complain if this had more episodes. Sadly, that might not happen coz erm these 2 divorced in real life. I'd just wait for other slice of life dramas to come. So far, though, nothing compares on how good this is.

i felt the same! lol. even the guard (who i've enjoyed watching as second lead/supporting role in other dramas and the titular main role in song of youth with bai lu) just don't feel right for the role. they could have gotten someone older to portray the meaness.

After 5 hours, 0 real interactions between the couple. The fangirl scene of the FL with that background music is just way funny. I actually came here for the romance more than the drama but it seems more of a palace drama. It's still intriguing though so Imma continue. Can anyone spoil me what episode they actually interact/speak with each other?
Still at episode 3 and wow does this girl attract royal guards in every drama. lol. enjoying all the food that i wanna try them all. i like the storyline and the trope of witty girl overcoming palace life and being on top. but i heard she leaves the palace? anyway, excited to watch the rest of the episodes and i wanna be in the moment already where the ML and FL finally meets and talks to each other.
