that would actually be a very nice happy ending! I doubt though. But I'm placing my bet on a happy ending for this. for me, the only way around for the two to have a happy ending after marrying the emperor if the emperor actually dies. I don't actually mind if he eventually gives up his life for FJ to cure him of his disease or some magic baishi healing there. maybe tilan would magically still be able to conceive so FJ x Haishi x Tilan raise the baby emperor together. happeh ending! lol.

Let's not forget that the mermaid can be some deus ex machina to save FJ's life!

And finally we're seemingly getting the reason that FJ will forcibly marry Haishi to Emperor coz he's dying and well Emperor owes so much to say no to him. Argh. Tilan is hurting like hell.

But I hope we get more out of this since all the previews were not what it seemed to be so far.

Trying watching Elle Fanning's and Nicholas Hoult's THE GREAT. It's as weirded up as this but still oddly enjoyable coz ermm.. chemistry. Let kings be crazy and entitled kings in fiction stories.
