episode 30 and taoyao is back. when does she get out of the picture? she's so intolerable. thank gawd for the Mu City love story that makes it so bearable. lol.
Is this family drama somewhat similar to Minglan (everyone is somewhat harmonious in the family?). Coz I don't know what I'll be watching next and it's definitely not Yan Xi Palace (too catty and revengeful) and Sword & the Brocade (couldn't get past episode 5 coz it's harem dramarama)

you're so advance in the drama! i'm still at viki's eng sub release pace. but true, this is old dynasty family drama is refreshing. i mean all the I've encountered previously are just a bunch of harem catty dramas. wish there's more like this!
It's so hard to find a good jdrama because the acting is so damn right manga-tic. This one has the elements of manga acting but it doesn't overpower because the script is damnnnnnnn good!!!!!!! Can't wait for the next episodes!
I just finished episode 8 and the scriptwriting is at its best. it's a pity but a little bit satirically funny how the FL wants to seek her revenge with the 1st trope of pretending to be a man in order to enter the palace and then the 2nd trope of trying to join the harem. The preview in episode 9 is too funny on how she'll get out of the harem selection. Can't wait fo the next episodes!
Is the "other woman" truly into the eldest brother? Her making a sudden robe for the eldest brother is such a RED FLAG. Run away, eldest brother!
