I have a little feeling it can be ashes of love? The 2nd male lead scenes were dragged so long and oh so too much that I dropped the actual drama. Lol. I really enjoyed the novel version though. He went into success mode though after the drama especially being paired with Bai Lu.

I actually want to see her without her baby bangs because in one episode she’s just been trying to get it out of her face, it was so distracting. lol

The actress was definitely a scene stealer. She really did well. Hope she gets more roles in the future. She really rocked her 2 episode screen time

Ok, Shen Ci case is interesting. Am I supposed to have suspended disbelief that they won’t believe that the case is due to witchcraft but you have Yang Caiwei as witchrafted? Lelz.

I meant 1 soul but two faces which are the first face (the one with the scar) and JJY.

The first face was a scene stealer though! She was a damn good actress and great chemistry with the male lead! I got surprised also and super confused why they can’t make JJY just do the scar thing like in all other cdramas. The complete body swapping took me by surprise but I got to understand it after watching episode 2. It was just like alchemy of souls, the whole first season was with the first face and then you get a sudden whiplash that it’s a different face on season 2.

I want to report mythical animal abuse. The comedy in that is a bit outdated as it follows the novel. Oh well. The only flaw I see.
