Just finished this drama and it literally left me with a smile! Is there going to be a season 2? Love how it ended. Also, what's next for me? What to watch? Is Ruyi or Twisted Love of Fate any good?
Had to watch this thru VPN access, gawd. Other than that, this worked as marathon filler for me in between General's Lady. I'm astounded by the production and costume. Refreshing actually from all the light-colored dramas I've been watching. Definitely liking the earthly aesthetics.
Honestly, I wouldn't have enjoyed this if I didn't marathon this because it's slow paced for me. Yet, the story is just light and all characters are very lovable that I keep clicking on the next episode. The best and mom duo goes to Duke and Madame Li! Love every bit of the interaction. Li Hongbin's character could have been more action and less lovesick and here we are. I actually like Xiruo's character just the way she is.
the free subs in youtube and viki are not available in my country. who did the fansub for this? maybe i can just watch from their website. want to watch in HD coz the rip off websites like kissasian are grainy.
I paused this on episode 24 and for some reason I feel like it's going to get dragging from episode 24 - 36. I hope not!! The first half was oh so sweet!

Ok, I'm still in episode 2 and I'm digging the lightheartedness of the story. I'm watching it on Youtube and everything just seems mute, quiet and unnatural. You can't hear the shuffling of the feet, the creak of the door, etc. The acting is a little bland but I'm okay with it.
I don't know if this is just me ,but this guy reminds me of Deng lun.
same! when I first saw him in Love is Sweet, I was like "wait, why'd they get an antagonist that looks like Deng Lun? Are they making an alternate world of Ashes of Love?" LOL. And then the rival girl entered and I was like "Wait, is this Yang Zi?!"
