A lot of plot points have not been resolved and i get that, like who was that old man and what happened to him. But if you think about it that's how things go in real life also . They will never be punished for their mistake. Those powerful people will push all the blame on someone who was probably working under them all this time. We don't really know what goes behind the scenes .
I think what the series was trying to tell us was that although not everyone will get punished for what they did and there will continue to be lots of wrong and injustice in the world, but we can still change ourselves. And we have the power to bring change to the world around us if we gather our courage and let go of the fear that holds us back. We have seen this happen a lot throughout history too. I think i took it for granted back then, when i saw protests take out corrupted leaders in my country. I didn't realize how difficult it was, but now am very very grateful or else our generation would have had to have that fight instead.
