Well honestly, I like ZeeNunew as simply entertainers rather than actors working together, I like Nunew more as a singer (lovely voice) and Zee more as a model (quite photogenic).. The first two episodes rather made me cringe with their subpar acting so I dropped. Don't really know how this show did in Thailand
Honestly this is the most Indian serial coded BL I have ever watched ππ Parent threatening to disown you if you don't want to marry the man they choose to be "perfect" match for you then, there is this evil sasural trope.. too funny π€£π€£
I will forever miss this series and SmartBoom working together. What a talented duo they are together with overflowing chemistry. Everytime I listen to this track "Bite Marks" by SmartBoom, it brings back bittersweet memories.
Honestly I am currently enjoying the second couple storyline more than the first one.. I just find their chemistry to be more natural and not over the top or forced.. Guo Cheng being the greenest flag ever.. So comforting to watch them also..
Ok basically this series's first storyline is about a vengenceful yet adorable looking ex-straight man with low IQ getting played real hard by almost everyone plus his entire situation β until he become gay af for the other guy..? Also Chi Cheng's actor voice is irresistably hott as hell.. Need more of the second couple
Well, I think a fair warning is better than blindly following an actor or a ship. I don't think you are saying anything bad about him. In fact, you are simply pointing out a potential concern to help others avoid future heartbreak. And to be fair, I donβt think heβs the only one doing this, as there are also other BL actors with secret gf doing the same thing. I think the root of this problem is within the BL fandom. A significant part of the BL fanbase clings to fantasy and refuses to face reality, making it hard for them to handle the harsh truths. This kind of mindset creates an environment for fake illusions to thrive as something profitable, making it easy for the industry to cash in on them. So calling out just this actor misses the bigger picture- this behavior is practically a standard in the BL industry and reflects a much deeper issue in the BL fandom.
Woah I think the developments are like super fast for just 3 episodes ππ But honestly something about this drama feels disconnected though, like I cannot fully immense myself in it.
Definately enjoying this drama! It really is character driven. Some people here are judging Keen, but I think they doesn't realize Keen's dire situation of constantly being unsafe and the fact that he does not have the full knowledge of Thun's past with Typhoon, led him to make a wild decision, which he thought would benefit everyone in the club, including himself. Yeah, it is selfish of him to lie like that and not ask Thun about the fight beforehand. But he wasn't aware of the gravity of emotional consequences it could have on Thun afterwards.
Did he realised his mistake and felt remorse? Hell yeah! He did! He was sensitive to how Thun felt after the match is over. The conversation at the celebratory dinner when Thun said nobody cares what he likes and Keen's reaction to it is beyond significant that he cares. He admitted his own selfishness and bad decision making style, during the car drive with bestie, which lead to hurt Thun's feelings in the process. So give him a freaking break! People makes mistakes and people learn from it, which lead to character development. He is not a perfect character and that is exactly what makes him interesting.
But only one thing that does not makes sense to me is the loan sharks coming outta nowhere. Does Keen has gps attached to him that they can track LMAO XD or is he constantly being followed? Like make it make sense!
I don't think the writers understands what a "special episode" is. This is not a special episode. More like a badly written fever dream that is absolutely unnecessary! And before some stupid mf here comments I am mad at the ending, no that is not the point here. It doesn't even made me cry or sad with that useless screenwritting and the fact that they called it a "special episode" is kinda misleading to viewers, after we have seen a whole 12 episode of the actual drama. If they they wanted to go this direction then, this should have been in the actual drama.
So upset over the news of this replacement. Not because I am against the replaced pair of actors. But because I think Leng is literally PERFECT for Raffy's role. It is quite intense and he proved every bit of it in the trailer. And now all his capabilities will go to waste. It's 2025, this kind of strict pairing thing in BL dramas have to end for real and I am sure Pond is setting a new standard. They are people first with their own personal lives, not some people's delusional fantasy to feed into. We need to break free of the pairing thingy altogether.
This kind of dramas are very hard to get right. The actors here are already skilled ones, no doubt about them. But without a well written script and a tactful direction style, this gonna be a total disaster. My hopes are not high for this as I know this production house. Regardless, I do wish that they prove many people wrong with a nice surprise.
Can't stop thinking about the trailer. It keeps popping up in my thoughts at random times. The three wish scene really took my breath away. Only in fictional world, we have a man like Thada. So stocked to watch this series β₯οΈβ₯οΈ
