This may not make sense to everyone. But I have been thinking a lot lately, about how would the story would have played out.. if Mahasamut refused to go to Bangkok because he loves his homeland and the sea.
How deeply the summer romance would affect both of them. How special the time they share would be for both of them.
I am sure Ruk would have come back once again. And Mut is more than happy to have him there again. It would have developed into something serious around the second time.
Although I am here for the BL but I decided to stay for the GL couple. What an interesting pair, with very polar opposite personalities. Opposite attracts!!
I think at certain point Mahasamut probably will start to miss his island and want to return, which will cause a lot of dramas. It will be totally out of character of him if he DOES NOT wants to go back, given the fact that how much he loves his homeland.
Honestly I think the GL side couple here is unnecessary. You can tell that Mame is not that passionate about the GL couple's plot as much as she is about the BL couple. I don't know why she decided to throw in something that she is not interested in. We have much better GL couple in other series than this.
The way ppl act towards any GL couple has to be studied...
I don't mind that there is a GL couple. My point is they are annoying. One of them whines too much. Another is a red flag who cannot take no for an answer.
The best part about ep 8 is when Dr Dee finally roasted Dr Ter by calling him vanilla back, that part really cracked me up 😂
Honestly felt second handed embarassment for Dr Ter when he lost his date, then Dr Dee's date finally showed up. Got rejected again in lowercase. Emotional damage! This man needs a real break to self reflect and heal. Most importantly, he needs to learn to take no for an answer.

You offered great insights here. I totally agree with everything you said. I think people who are disappointed by this, expects a specific formula for romantic plots. In reality, there is no specific formula that cause two people to get close to each other and later fall in love. The possibilities for this are endless and limitless.
