In fact, the ending can still be interpreted in different ways. Someone will accept that he is dead and the girl has now received psychological trauma, because of which she now has the same problems that he had. And someone will see the reunion of the two lovers, that he is alive and now they will be together.
Unfortunately, my understanding of the situation does not allow me to accept the second option, I am inclined to the first. Alas, this is sad.

I realy like this dorama, BUT what an annoying character second ML (Ye Lu Ming). If you just cutoff this character it would be 10/10 dorama but he ruined all. What a shame.
The plot reminded me of another Chinese dorama, "She and Her Perfect Husband", in which an older woman is forced to enter into a fictitious marriage with a younger guy, due to a promotion in the company.
