Because they are more often than not BETTER. i thought about it a lot; and i think its to reinforce a girl's mind (as main TA is 15-25 years old) into accepting bare minimum in the name of romantic love when clearly a better option exist; (again not all dramas, i am talking about some dramas). i think they show - see there is better option who is kind, gentle love but the FL chooses the First ML in the name of passion; where as if you truly sit down and compare most of the time ML is doing what he should be doing, but they make it out as if oh god what a man; obviously this doesn't happen all the time but more often then not (main example Nevertheless drama); So to all the girls, it's okay to be selfish and choose someone better, it doesn't make you a bad person, as along as you don't hurt, disrespect anyone intentionally. just my opinion....
okay so this is a rant, firstly i thought to watch this drama after all the episodes are out but my insta convinced me otherwise and now i am in this loop of waiting for Monday's and worrying about it being cancelled anytime; but right now i am sooooooo annoyed at how they handled the second pairings situation, i mean i know they are not the main leads but still covering everything in 30mins is so unfair, plus god dabao felt like such a bad friend to Xiao i mean his clearly having traumatic flashbacks and his just standing there doing bare minimum, i mean come on dude Xiao helped him so much in his situation and now Xiao needs support so his just standing and letting such scumbag of an ex touch him without his permission, dude at least punch him once, i read comments on how in the novel the three gangup on Meng tao and punish him so i was expecting quite a showdown but sooo disappointing yaar, how can they finish everything in 30 mins...??????????????????????????????? not even one whole episode; and what? Xiao should have run into the arms of Cheng after everything, why are not they showing their skinship?? and why did Cheng run after the Wang Shuo in the end?? wtffff is happening with second leads? i am clearly very invested in their story than the main leads as i found them more interesting - story wise, they had amazing potential but everything is ruined... and now that everything about them is over; i am sure they will barely get any screen time in the remaining episodes, its all going to be sobbing story of main leads.
okay so i just started the show and the first scene itself has made me realise there is no logic to the show, just watch with your brain off and enjoy for what it is, the thing i dont understand or maybe i misunderstood due to cultural difference, please correct me, so the ML goes undercover to the high school as a student, so his pretending to be 17-18 years old or is it one of those that you couldnt finish high school so now you are finishing it?? and if its the former one the reasoning is that he drank herbal drink when he was a child? what does that mean? do herbal drinks cause you to age??
hey can someone tell me where they watched the diamond snow in ep 5?? was it in Sapporo or some place else? as she is studying in Sapporo but travels to the hotel to find her phone?
if this drama sohyun character choose the 2nd lead, she will get hate again like Love Alarm 2. She get so much…
i didnt mean the drama character's; havent watched a single episode as of now, waiting for it to complete so i can binge watch; i meant as actors it would be refreshing thats all.
In Asian culture, it's very common to call a friend or stranger older, but within the same generation (i.e., when…
hey similarly, In India, we call Bhaiya (older brother) and Didi (older sister) as we dont call our elders by their name (its considered disrespectful); also since we have so many languages every language has their own version, i have mentioned mine which is 'Hindi"
all this time i thought he was IU's brother in when life gives you tangerines: he and kang you seok are so alike; i cant differentiate them at all plus they are both gemini and their birthdays are just a week apart its crazyyy
its crazy how he and gong myung (actor) looks so alike; their birthdays are also just a week apart sharing the same zodiac sign; to me they are literal twins
Iām pretty sure Akin himself thinks he was being silly too about the award which is evident when he so easily…
thank you for this, it really helped me understand the characters so much better than before. after your explanation it does seems to make lil more sense to me.
okay so am i the only one who felt akin being childish when losing the most handsome award to jin? i mean he won it for 5 years already and he said it himself that it's all fleeting then why was he so upset; i get being little upset but so much to the point of bursting into tears?? it wasn't even best actor award; which to me would have made more sense as jin is a newbie. and also shouldn't he be happy that his bf won the award after him being the number 1 for 5 years already? why is his character so immature? and when he lost the best actor award to someone else, he was totally fine eating cake? i mean i dont know if they are following exactly how the anime was written but to me akin is very immature also pointing out how he handled johnny situation; like why wont he just confront johnny? he was clearly drunk and according to him (akin) they spent the night together then shouldn't he be mad and confront johnny? if not that same morning but next day? jin is so much more mature and centred, thankgod. or maybe i am watching it wrong.

it was so good half way and then they ruined it for me from ep7;
i mean he won it for 5 years already and he said it himself that it's all fleeting then why was he so upset; i get being little upset but so much to the point of bursting into tears??
