I'm watching ep 26 and I'm absolutely obsessed with XL. But I need to know something (question below)
some evil person wrote a spoiler in the comments on YT, so I've been stressed out for days already. In which episode does XL die? I'm afraid I'm getting close and I need to mentally prepare for it ;;
Oh my, so many negative comments. I'm back after years, watched it 2 times and still really like this drama. I'm glad I didn't have mdl acc back then, otherwise I'd get scared and didn't watch this.
True, he arrived in white & went out in black😎😢. The ending went awry. Some got whiplash & side eyed the…
Ikr! He's killing these roles, the more wronged he's the better experience while watching his acting 😆. I love pain, but it'd be nice to get a happy ending after all that crying. He's unlucky for sure, but I'm praying for the lead role for him, especially now when grey/villainous ML's are the in-thing.

And he literally fixed his hair and robes right before that, these details blew me away. And apparently a lot of scenes were cut, so I agree that it turned out very well.
I love that Shulin made sure he looked good before going into the mist. King ;; Lan Jue and Zhang Ping did him so dirty I can't forgive them. I understand but I believe there was a better way out. It's a happy ending but I'm not happy :(
This is the best drama I've watched this year. There wasn't a single bad episode. I would rate each of them a 10. And the ending was satisfying and beautiful. I recommend it very strongly to everyone.
If you want to enjoy this series you can't take it seriously: " - If someone knocks on the door, don't open it." *5 sec later* *someone knocks" *he opens the door and everyone gets beaten*
I would disagree I think ending was not needed it feels like movies now days all try to make the ending like it…
That's true. Many movies (especially horrors) have something like open ending, like the ghost/evil/etc is still there. I think I get used to it. And if it's interesting or somehow exciting to me - I consider it as good ending. But I understand why you don't like it
I love the story. The characters are interesting and complex. Female and male lead were sometimes annoying, but it was compensated by a captivating story and ... Gong Zi. I'm totally Gong Zi biased. I think it's because of Wang Duo's phenomenal acting and my love for morally gray characters. It has become one of my favorite Chinese dramas. Totally recommend!
