Finally, this excruciatingly painfull long drama is over!!! The story is just horrible. It isn't even worth me going into it. I kept telling myself that it would get better, but it doesn't. Even the ending is stupid.

The acting is well done and the cast is excellent. It is really too bad that they are in this drama.

The music is the highlight. I like the osts.

I don't think a person could pay me to rewatch this drama. I'm sorry that I watched it the first time.

I don't recommend this to anyone.

Regardless of the hype DOTS received, I will try to write this review with my normal analysis.

I don't get it? So, the plot is that dating a soldier is really hard because they could die? Maybe the writer wanted it to be a kind of slice of life thing. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of cute and romantic moments and not just with the lead couples. There are some nice supporting characters and I usually don't enjoy tons of extra characters. This drama is the exception. Without the extra dynamics of ridiculously good looking guys running shirtless, star cameos of Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Ah In, and Lee Kwang Soo, Song Sang Hyeon chasing Ha Ja Ae, the adorable kids they helped, and the earthquake emergency, etc., then this drama wouldn't have a story. I did like the story line of the "far away friend" the best. I'm not saying this drama is horrible or anything. I actually enjoyed watching it for the most part. I would have rated it higher if episode 15 had been cut from the drama.

Of course the acting is good. Everyone did a great job. My only complaint is David McInnis. Is he not like from the US? Why does he talk like a robot that can't speak English? He has got to be one of the worst actors. Hell, Song Hye Kyo did a better job of speaking English naturally than he did. I think she did great speaking with Ri Ye Hwa in English. I will stop my rant here.

The music is really good. I almost gave it a higher score for that alone.

I will never rewatch this.

If you want to watch a drama with no rhyme or reason, then this is perfect.

I love this drama. The love story between a mother and child, friendship, family, and lovers is so well written, directed, and acted. I was skeptical of the chemistry between the leads at first because of the 15 year age gap, but I was absolutely wrong. Their love for each other is palpable. Although you would think that this drama is sad (and it is sometimes), I was left with a feeling of optimism. Live your life to the fullest because you never know if you have one day, one month, or years. The story does have typical Korean troupes such as rich, jerk man falling for poor, optimistic woman, but they are written in a way as to not interfere with the depth of the story.

Uee is phenomenal as Kang Hye Soo. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed her performance and I was completely invested in the character. Where did Lee Seo Jin come from? I have never seen him in anything and I am wondering why. I can see why Hye Soo fell for Han Ji Hoon. He felt real. With all the fake in this world, that is my highest compliment. All the other actors are good also. Shin Rin Ah is totally adorable as Cha Eun Sung.

I enjoyed the music and have downloaded some of it.

I may rewatch this sometime.

If you enjoy dramas that are uplifting, then I think you would enjoy this. It is reminiscent of the drama Scent of a Woman which I also highly recommend.

As far as melo, revenge dramas go, I have seen a lot of them. This one is average. The story is good, but I think the directing was a problem. How many scenes of Han Young Won walking down the sidewalk crying or in thought is necessary? The pace is a little slow, but over all it is a good drama. The ending is kinda anti-climatic, but I'm sure some of you will like it.

I like Han Ji Hye and she did well as Han Young Won. I have love for Yoon Kye Sang ever since I watched Road Number 1. He did a great job as Jung Se Ro. The perfect blend of kindness and anger. I wish I could post spoilers, because there are specific scenes in which he excelled. I have never seen anything in which Jo Jin Woong has acted previously. He is a really good actor. I felt deeply for Park Kang Jae. The other actors are good too.

The music was fitting and some of it is really nice.

If you like light melo/revenge dramas, then this is definitely a good one.

First, I like this drama because the "good guys" aren't stupid. It is refreshing and I love the fact that the "good guys" aren't just fumbling around trying to figure out what is going on and what to do about it. I can't go into detail because there would be too many spoilers, but that is my favorite thing about the writing of this drama. There are a few times that I thought they should have just killed the "bad guys" when they had the chance, but then I guess there would not have been a drama. The story flows well with suspense, fighting, assassination attempts, etc.

Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo as Choi Won and Da In acted well in their rolls. They are just good actors regardless of story line. However, the romance between them wasn't that great. It seemed more like they cared for each other as good friends rather than lovers. There really wasn't that much of a triangle and it really bothered me how they ended it for Yoon Jin Yi's character, So Baek. She was so optimistic, a good fighter, and a little naive. I adored her character. I do think she was better suited to be with Kwon Hyun Sang's character, Kkeok Jeong though. Going back to Da In's romance, there was more chemistry between her and Sung Woong's character, Do Moon. The romantic story between Song Jong Ho's character, Red Demon and Kang Byul as Choi Won's sister was better than the main character's romance. They were totally great together. Im Seul Ong played the Crown Prince really well. I didn't know he could act. The other supporting cast including the bandits and the bad guys were also good.

The kids Kim Yoo Bin as Rang and whoever played the other prince were perfect. Yoo Bin is just too cute for words.

The music is fine.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like historical, romantic, action dramas, then I think this is one to try.

I really enjoyed MDGSW at first, but after a while it started to get on my nerves and I dropped my rating because of the last two episodes. Are they kidding me? I am a huge fan of Makjang dramas and the story line is totally unbelievable as they always are. The problem is the progression of the story and the character development. I can't get into everything because we aren't to post spoilers, but some of the characters were one dimensional. Plus, there were so many unnecessary characters that I could have cared less about and they took up too much story time. I have seen better Makjang dramas.

Honestly, what kept me hooked are the women, Baek Jin Hee as Geum Sa Wol, Song Ha Yoon as Joo Oh Wol and Park Se Young as Oh Hye Sang. Jin Hee is one of my favorite actors, because she plays the strong yet sweet parts really well. She is also beautiful. I wanted to find out how their relationship would be resolved in the end. I was sadly disappointed by how it was handled in some ways. Se Young is really good at being a crazy biatch. I hated her from beginning to end. No redeeming qualities what so ever. The other actors are good too.

The music is ok.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't necessarily recommend this drama. There are other better Makjang dramas out there. Hit me up on PM and I will give you a list. :-)

The Equator Man is not for the soft hearted. This drama goes hard from beginning to end. Even the good guys aren’t that good. I personally love it!!! This drama has murder, attempted murder, pain, anguish, and revenge…all the makings of a deeply disturbed drama. The story basically revolves around a woman that we barely even get a glimpse of. Her love for an evil man that misunderstands her begins a chain of events that rock the world of all those that come in contact with him. There is even a beautiful romance in the midst of all this sinister chaos.
There are some transition problems between the teenagers into adults…it makes the time spacing a little confusing. The story isn’t one I have seen before. It has some of the fundamentals as other Korean dramas, but they are used in a different way.

Im Woong Jae and Lee Hyun Woo do an excellent job of playing the teen male leads. Their parts are crucial to the drama. If they had not portrayed the feelings of the characters in such a way that draws a person into events, then this drama would not be as good as it is.

Uhm Tae Woong plays the adult Kim Sun Woo while Lee Joon Hyuk plays the adult Jang Il . Tae Woong portrayal of a blind man is a little off, but I still think he did well in depicting a man that has had a tuff life and has been hurt many times and turns to revenge as a method to sooth his madness.

Joon Hyuk plays a man that has done something unthinkable and has slowly gone crazy because of it. On the outside he looks perfect. He struggles to keep that image and to even try to believe it himself, because inside he knows the truth. Although some people may disagree with me, I believe his character has gone through as much pain as Sun Woo. He just handles it differently.

Lee Bo Young plays Ji-Won, who is the love interest of both male leads. She is also Sun Woo’s voice of reason. She does a lovely job of playing a character that is essentially good, but understanding of Sun Woo’s need for revenge.

Im Jung Eun plays Soo Mi. This character is horrible. I think she is even worse than Jang Il . She may not have committed a crime, but her actions are of a person without a conscience. She is certifiably crazy.

The actors that play the supporting characters do a good job too.

The music goes really well with this drama.

I probably won't watch it again, but I enjoyed it the first time.

First of all you can't go wrong watching So Ji Sub and Kang Ji Hwan in a movie together!!! This is a movie within a movie and both main characters have a problem with distinguishing reality from fiction. Both Ji Sub/Kang Pae and Ji Hwan/Su Ta are so intense. They play off of eachother very well.

I am a total Ji Sub fan...he plays dark and scary very well.

If you are looking to watch something violent, then this is so the movie to watch!!! It is great!!!

This drama will make a person ask themselves some moral and ethical questions. What would you do if you had a power that is similar to either of these guys? What would you do to use that power if you knew someone that had it? The ill children seemed to know better than the adults how to answer those questions. It was interesting.

The problems with the story stems from a few convoluted plot points and the characters Hasebe and Sawamura. They were both very annoying. I'm not sure if it was the characters or the acting. Part of me thinks it was the acting. Otherwise the story is well done.

The acting of Nashikido Ryo as Ryosuke and Takizawa Hideaki as Shinji is understated but in a way that makes since for the story. There is an emotional depth that is palpable from the acting and from the questions that are asked. Even though they were pretty much the only good actors in this drama, it is still worth watching.

I enjoyed the music.

I probably won't rewatch this.

If you like a little mystery and fantasy, then you could probably enjoy this. :-)

WOW. I enjoyed this drama immensely. The story is intriguing. It has mystery, action, betrayal, and romance. Two draw backs for me is that there are some unrealistic police procedures and they don't play up the romance as much as I would have liked (this isn't a romance though, so I guess I can't really complain that much). I wish I could post spoilers because I have a lot to say about this drama and no one to say it to. The cinematography is excellent as well as the way it is directed. I was never bored. Oh and for once no one had amnesia after being hit in the head numerous times.

The acting is stellar. I haven't seen any of Jung Kyung Ho's dramas since Sorry, I Love You. I had forgotten that he is a great actor. The way he portrays Jung Shi Hyun/Doctor's Son is amazing. I rarely cry during dramas, but he made me cry twice with his heart wrenching scenes. All of the other actors are good too. However, Kim Yoo Mi as Ji Sook stands out above the others. Not only is the character well written, but her portrayal of the character brought Ji Sook to life for me. I wanted to be her friend.

I love the music also.

I would probably rewatch this.

If you enjoy suspense and action, then I think this is a drama that you would enjoy. I highly recommend it.

The synopsis for this movie does not do it justice. I was not prepared for this movie. This movie is light-hearted and deep at the same time. I don't know how they gave us the story this quickly, but it was well done. The acting is great...all the characters were really well played. I was surprised to see Yoo Ah In in this movie...I am watching Fashion King right now and I am glad to know that he can act without making the strange face that he makes in Fashion King. I love Kim Jae Wook and enjoyed his roles in Coffe Prince and Mary Stayed Out All Night. He is totally cute and a great actor...he played the gay adonis character to a tee. It was also great to see Joo Ji Hoon, because I loved him in Goong. I thought he did a great job portraying a disturbed man that is looking for peace. It is my first time to see Choi Ji Ho and I thought he did a great job. This movie is not what I would call a typical Korean movie and I think that is what makes it great. I say watch it!!!

Although I think the writer got a little lost toward the end and there are a few things left unexplained, the story of Reset was well thought out. Every episode was exciting and the ending was pretty good. Looking back, I should have waited until it was over and marathoned it., because waiting from week to week was a pain. It is easy to connect to the characters and they are well developed. I like how the writer brought a little of each characters personal life into the main story with out taking away from anything. It is an all around enjoyable drama.

Chun Jung Myung is an excellent actor. He really should be in more dramas. I worried that Prosecutor Cha would go crazy. I remember Kim So Hyun from Missing You. I thought she was great in that and she doesn't fail to deliver as Eun Bi. I hope she stays as good. The other actors are good also.

The music is appropriate.

I might rewatch this in the future.

If you like psychological thriller dramas, then this is definitely one to watch.

This is a roller-coaster ride with great, imaginative writing. This is the most wonderfully unpredictable drama that I have ever seen. There is romance and it is very suspenseful. I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of it. The story is about time travel and the consequences of every choice a person makes in life. I think the writers are really brave, but because I can't give spoilers in a review, you will just have to watch it to see what I mean.

The acting is superb. Lee Jin Wook as Sun Woo and Jo Yoon Hee as Min Young have great chemistry and I love their interaction. Really all of the actors are good.

The music fits the drama although I wouldn't say there is anything that I would put on my playlist.

I would rewatch this in a heartbeat.

I recommend this to everyone. I know this review is short, but this is one of those dramas that would take hours upon hours to explain and since we can't post spoilers, I really can't explain all the reasons why you should watch it. I can guarantee you won't regret it if you do.

Another excellent recommendation from Skye-N-Rain from the featured movies article. I'm so glad that I watched this movie!!!

This movie is beautifully sad. I don't have the capacity to explain the emotions that this movie provokes. It is a reminder that no matter how long we are here that we can leave something good behind and have an impact on the lives around us. These characters have a great capacity for love. I haven't ventured far from K-Pop, but I just added YUI to my playlist. Her voice is no joke!!! I suggest that even if you don't watch this movie that you look up the soundtrack. It is amazing. I will definitely watch this again. I suggest that everyone watch it once. It is lovely.

I never watched the webtoon, so I have no idea how the drama relates to it. This review is solely based on watching the drama.

It is a nice light psychological thriller. It isn't really suspenseful. There is no major action, no romance, no emotional revelations, no real character development. However, it is interesting if you like psychology which I do. The main story line is tied together neatly with the weekly "who done it" story line. I enjoyed it, but I kind of had it figured out about mid way through the drama. I have seen better psychological dramas.

The acting is fine. Nothing stands out. I have seen Song Chang Eui do better. I am a huge fan of Sung Ji Ru and he excels as Detective Nam.

The music is fine.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like psychological dramas, then there are better choices, but this one is ok.
