However now, as the young master of that Lingxu Pavilion, his wardrobe just looks out of context. Also did Allen Ren gain weight or it is the bad fitted wardrobe? He looks chubbier than his usual self and he constantly has his hands on his waistline which only accentuates the whole visual.

I totally agree.. Go to her next drama and read those comments about the backlash I was talking about.. If you can't sell the feelings you are supposed to have then I feel the acting is fake or forced like you said.
