Rewatching episode 1 today with better quality, I can say that the cinematography is way above those cheap shots in GMM shows, even with high-budget show like My Love Mix-Up. How they do that I don't know, maybe hiring a lot of talented people to work on this show. The quality is like that of a movie, not a TV show. Thank God for this, though I don't like the plot that much, I enjoy it very much because of Yin War chemistry and a lot of great scenes in between. When the producers truly care for their products, you can tell.

Harsh? You don't know how sensible you sound when you say that. This piece of Eurocake show deserves somewhere between 4 to 6.

As it should be. Thai is never good at making believable thrillers be it BL or non-BL. From the time I saw the trailer all I could think of is two of them playing doll-house. War wanted to play a character like this so much he decided make crime show with all these action/mafia scenes. I would rather have both of them making a realisitc show where two normal working-class boys falling in love with each other in a deteriorating economy of modern-day Thailand, but it may be too much for those screenwriters to handle. It's easier to make a ridiculous plot with guns and chase scenes than a realistic plot with all the complexity of life itself. However, this is what we get and I think it's fine to watch it for what it is.

I love the main character but the cheap jumpscares are way too many. Whenever a director abuses cheap trick like this, I don't expech much from the rest of the episodes.

This series is good but it missed the chance to be bigger in the BL era. If this was a full BL show, I think it would make a bigger impact. James Teeradon, as usual, is awesome. One of the best actors right now, I watch almost everything he acts in.

A great start, Ohm Pawat is awesome as usual. Leng is just okay for a newbie, maybe he needs more experience after this debut series. But I'm not complaining, after MLMU, my standard is much lower than it was before, I take this show for what it is and thank you Ohm for bringing my Friday back. Next week is Jack and Joker, I can see Yin again, what a great month.

What kind of idiot rate this series below 8 and gave My Love Mix-Up, a total disaster, above 8? This is a great start and TayNew is awesome even if this is not a BL.

It's mindless fun and I love episode 1 already. I don't care if this is BL or bromance. Anyway, Perth looks so fine, it's a shame his ship with Chimon didn't sail, let's hope he's doing well in his next series.

That's the charm of MDL, critical thinking is not welcome here, double-standard, on the other hand...

Not to defend Gemini but I think he has great potential, I watched his MSP reversed role and I thought to myself, this guy can play subtle roles. Fourth is good but not that good as people say, most normal actors can do these crying scenes, his cringy moments in previous episodes are unforgivable. There's something wrong with this series and that's why Gemini acts like this: he doesn't want to be a BL partner with Fourth anymore but somehow they must be together to make money.

About the last two points you listed, you're absolutely correct. Everything is 7 or 8 on this forum if they like the actors, not the plot or the acting...

In short, it's half-assed.

This show deserves a 4/10 rating. And I'm being generous.

You're broke and you can't buy anything, ok that's fine. But do you think about the time they take from you when you watch these ads? Even money can't buy time.

There was an old trailer, a pilot or something, if you can find it, watch it. You can understand much more clearly.
