June and July are going to be so booked. I'm already so happy! Btw, don't forget to check out Wandee Goodday.
I think Wandee Goodday is fine but I have no desire to watch it anymore (I dropped at episode 3). I love Inn but his acting is all the same across every series. I watched his Teddy Bear series (on Channel 3) and loved it, though I think he should be more diverse in his acting roles. He's no longer at that age to play a "cute boy" anymore.
What I dread most when I stumble on any comment section are the Novel spoilers when the show is still airing.…
I know how you feel. I hate those spoilers too but thank God, for me, most (if not all) Thai BL series has zero value in plot, maybe because I read too many romance books therefore these series' plots are nothing new to me. I watch them because I just want to see two handsome guys acting cute with each other.
It's been a long time since I've been in a BL marathon. These are what I'm currently watching: We Are, My Stand-in, Only Boo. When My Love Mix-up starts, I won't have a thing to complain about my life anymore. I love this June.
Most of his shows after GMM are terrible but somehow I have a lot of respect for him as an artist, if he was still in GMM, he would end up playing a lot of support roles like his old partner. Now he can play the main lead but his problem now is how to find a better manager, he needs someone to choose his scripts for him.
Hope he gets a main-MAIN role like Gem did with Prim (aside from MLMU). He has such good talent in such a young…
His role in Scarlet Heart is bigger than that of Gemini. It's a very big budget show. Getting a role in show like that means a lot more than in a generic series. If he continues to work with GMM, a role like Gem is very easy to get. Maybe next year.
They're young, they'll have plenty of opportunities to play different roles in the future. Those high school shows…
I think Moonlight Chicken is not a good enough example for GMM's standard of success but I get your point. There is one more thing to consider, look at PondPhuwin, they moved from highschool to a dark mafia world and their series got terrible reviews. Even though it's everybody's faults (PondPhuwin bad acting, bad director plus bad plot, the only good thing is the cinematography), GMM got scared and decided to go the old safe route.
I have to admit I love GMM's Japanese adaptation shows because Cherry Magic is such a pleasure to watch. I hope GemFourth gets the same treatment. If it was another GMM's original show I might think again. GemFourth is becoming bigger stars and they will go on tour together this year, however, I believe their ship is sinking (not publicly) because Gemini is slowly wanting to try different things. I just hope this is not their last series together.
am i the only want fourth to change ship with gemini...i want fourth pair with someone else than gemini...their…
So I am not the only one think that, lolz. Nope, it's not happening now and it won't be for some time in the future. No matter how Gemini does not like to be in the ship, he will try to keep the ship afloat because of money. He likes Fourth as a friend and no more than that. I do think he would love to play as a bot more than a top. Though that's just my opinion. Gemini has much more potential to be an independent singer, maybe he'll go that way.
damn, the plot seems so... repetetive and childish. Those two are talented, they are good actors, they deserve…
They're young, they'll have plenty of opportunities to play different roles in the future. Those high school shows give GMM a lot of money so this is business. You can think of it like this, since GMM makes a lot of money, GemFourth do too and the more money they make, the faster these two become independent artists in the future. They can act in whatever roles they want. I think youth is one thing you cannot get back. Gemini and Fourth can't act as a highschooler in their 30s. Now it is perfect.
I hope GMMTV learned their lesson with Cherry magic's rights issue and we will get an international release of…
This is their flagship series, they will do anything they can to broadcast it on all possible platforms. This is business we're talking about, their sponsors won't be happy if this long-awaited show gets the same treatment as Cherry Magic.
after this series, they should very seriously pull the plug on this director and ask him to hone his art...Winny…
Yes, P'Aof is only good in GMM's playground, and the fans are satisfied. I love him too but I don't think he can make a high-art drama or anything. He seems to know a lot about how to make a good BL film though. If only many directors in GMM can do what he does then the standard may rise higher than it is now.
after this series, they should very seriously pull the plug on this director and ask him to hone his art...Winny…
You got it right, they're a business company, they care about money more than anything. However, if I were a famous/serious director, I would also hestitate if GMM hires me to direct their BL series. I think the best they got now is P'Aof.
after this series, they should very seriously pull the plug on this director and ask him to hone his art...Winny…
Nah, he has never been a good director, GMM knows exactly what they are doing. For this kind of series, they can hire any director, he's just an option, the plot is nothing special. If WinnySatang has a new series, I doubt they will give it to him.
