In this story it makes sense that he's a bit bratty. He's a rich, spoiled younger son with a carefree life. Though…
Yes, I know all that but still I can't stand him, it's my personal issue more than of the actor or the character. I met someone like this in real life once and I still can't forget the bad experience.
I'm tired of the immature lead who has an obsession with his P'Tammy. I don't like this type of people in real life so maybe that's why. The side couple is cool though, I wish we have another series featuring them.
I'm telling you guys I'm obsessed with this series, with the two main leads. I wish the would update infomation regarding anything about season 2. I can wait for two years but I wish it would not be two years of silence. I watched a lot of BLs before and none of it can affect me this much.
Two years for season 2 is a safe bet. I think I will come back here once in a while to check for the actors' events. I'm rewatching some of my favorite episodes and still think it's one of the best BL ever. Let's hope they can do season 2 as soon as possible,
I agree, although so many people complain about the pacing of the first ep, I think it feels just right. But perhaps…
One more thing, most of us BL fans are used to watch 30-45-minute episodes. This series runtime is different, the first ep is almost 70 minutes. Maybe that's why people think it is slower.
Bravo to Nonkul for doing something new, he's a very good actor. I love the first episode, yes, it was kind of slow for some viewers but I think they are setting it up slowly and carefullly for later episodes.
I hope they write a completely new script for season 2, that 8 years apart is killing me. I don't want them to change actors. Best thing is Wu Bi recovering and both of them spend a lot of time helping each other to grow up, becoming adults. The second season should focus on Wu Bi's brother as the main villain.
I mean, season 2, sure, but I want the uncut version first!
It depends. It can be weeks, but it can also be months. They can release it near the debut of season 2 as a reminder for fans. If that's the case then it'll be a long long time until we see the uncut version.
I saw many people saying there will be a season 2, if it's true then Wu Bi is definitely alive. But why do they…
Yes, they signed a contract for season 2 so it might happen. Of course they gave us that ending so that we'll remember to return when season 2 airs, lolz.
If this is another country we're talking about, I won't worry that much, but here it's China. It's very hard for the writers of the show to write Season 2, even more than Season 1, because now the main leads are in a romantic relationship with each other. You just can't write a lovey-dovey show like Thai's, the censorship will not let it pass. Usually, in China, money can solve a lot of things *cough*, you know what I mean, but I heard the crew is not that rich, let's hope after the popularity of season 1, they can find more sponsors.
Yes, it's funny like that. Not only in China but in other parts of Asia too, lolz.
Not everywhere though, but in some places they do it for fun. It's not that serious, well, these clothes are usually not that clean, lolz. You can choose not to wear it. I think the director wants the main character wear it for us to see. A bit of eye candy.
I watched the last episode and I want to say a few things guys. The ending is quite sad but it's actually not that bad considering we are getting season 2. Maybe the show can keep all actors and does not need to do a timeskip or anything. We don't know about Wu Bi condition, maybe he's in coma but Su Yu can be there to talk to him until he wakes up and both of them have a chance to be together again. Wu Bi's father may take him to an expensive hospital in Beijing (or wherever), it's where Su Yu attends his university and they still can meet.
I say we keep being hopeful about the whole situation. Before I watched the episide I thought it will be extremely terrible but no. It's sad but there is still hope. Su Yu's confession after the car crash is phenomenal. He realized he couldn't live without Wu Bi and was willing to exchange his life for him. If that's not love I don't know what is. For those of you decided not to watch the show because of the ending, please don't do it, up until the end things are still very sweet and keep in mind, this is just part 1 of a 2-part show. I will not call this "ending", it's more of a "cliffhanger" to me. Why? If the director knows beforehand that he will not be able to make season 2, the supposed open ending should be the scene which Wu Bi opens his eyes when he hears Su Yu calling for him in the hospital. Here we don't even know what the doctor told Su Yu about Wu Bi's condition.
