It's better to be wary of ratings here on MDL. This is rated higher than Under the Skin season 2. Make it make…
Not exactly. I loved it because I liked the book. It’s good if you want something soothing and plain in between the angsty ones. So I rated it high because I liked it. Mind you I was aware of the lack of plot and knew it was around food and music. The only thing I was greatly dissapointed with was that they changed out all those many Hatsune Mikus when they did that cosplay photoshoot.
Hi! Is there any novel readers who have watched this? I’m thinking -is it worth to watch? It seam that they altered the story quite a bit? Are the lead actors ok? Thank you!
probably both leads are kids of rich investors. They both got lead roles at the start of their career...let's…
Umm… I am over forty and still a “fan” -not in asian meaning though. I think it is meaningless to argue about someones looks because beauty standards are very different especially between asian and western cultures. For a drama -if you enjoy it, great. If you don’t -🤷🏻♀️ Have a good time in here. 😘

I don’t know about the actress but BTJ is in one of my all times favourite dramas. Liked him for his acting and still haven’t seen any bad acting from him. Even if I was suprised for The First Frost casting I still knew that he can act this nevertheless. So he is a marvellous actor and not just a pretty face.
Even though I was surprised and disappointed when I realized they changed the actors and personalities and everything,…
They are just following the novel. This novel is different it is not the fluffy and easy one to start with. And just treat them like two different dramas without any connection. The storytellers are different too. Have you ever seen any girl telling that your brother is more good looking than your boyfriend. What do a girl see as a brothers character? So the personalities are from totally different perspectives.
the novel was better and the casting is lacking.. male lead looks awkward
The novel is always better. 😘 Or at least for me 🤷🏻♀️
But maybe they cast the male lead because his acting skills first and then for the manhua look. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ (I don’t mind though, just read the novel again and didn’t remember that there in the description male lead was thin -that I did not remember before so I was a bit upset at the beginning. But for the acting part I like him now and can’t say anything against anymore.
I’m watching because of the lead actors -really like them (and their acting) but yes it’s totally ok to find something else to watch. I hope you’ll see something more to your taste. 😘
I am on ep 5, I went in it with an open mind as possible when, it is advertised as same timeline as hidden love.…
It is not. It’s different. You will see his fun side coming out later when they will have more interactions. Right know you’ll have once deeply hurt character who still loves but can’t show his love yet.
He is not like that in the novel...not this pushy atleast....he doesn't go to her house or anything like that....in…
But if we but all that aside -I really like the drama version too. It’s rare for me to love drama equally with novel. I usually love the novel way more. So they still did a good job despite for all that. 😅
Can someone help me find out why the actor who played this caracther in Hidden love îs not on this drama?
If you read both novels you’ll get why. But the vibe is different. The Hidden Love one is ok but he does not actually match the novel description in The First Frost that well and it is harder to act as well so they needed someone with really good acting skills. (Victor Ma is ok, BTJ is just better with inner drama -so they both fit very well the ones they are in.)

I think he can pull off whatever character there is!

Still like novel more. 😃🙈
