Fully thought we'd have some idea of whether they end up together or not from ep. 15, but honestly it could go either way. Still hoping for Baekdo endgame. :)
Honestly I'm fine with them not ending up together, but I just don't understand what will be the reason for their break-up. If it's due to YJ's job, then I'm sure he could just change departments, which according to previews he will try to do in the next ep. Hopefully the reason is valid and every storyline gets wrapped up properly.
I'm still a little confused about the main plot. It says that they meet when they're 18 and 22 and fall in love when they're 21 and 25, but theyre already in love?! Also if they do not end up together, why would Hee Do name her workshop 2521? I know that if I was married to someone and had a child with them I for sure would not be naming something so important after the time when I first fell in love. Also in regards to the rumor that someone posted about, if they truly go their separate ways, atp what would be the reason? YJ reporting about YR was a big deal but according to previews they're going to get over it and stay together, so what would really push them to break up? I honestly can't think of a reason. Anyhow I'll be okay with every ending (although i would love a baekdo ending 😊), so even if they're not together in the end I just hope we have a proper reason for their break up. This show has been incredible and i just hope that the ending doesn't feel to rushed because there are a lot of storylines to wrap up.
The more I think about it the more i'm leaning towards them not being endgame but I just don't understand how a break-up between them can happen, like what would be the reason? Also in the interview NHD definitely looked a bit sad and imo full of longing feelings and I don't think she's the type that would marry someone if she still had feelings for someone else. I do believe that the grandma has dementia and the scene where KMC asks who is YJ is more just testing her grandma, but the one thing that I can't get behind is that her surname is Kim, there's just no way to explain that. Overall i'm hoping for a Baekdo endgame but I'll be happy even if they're not together as long as no one dies.
In contary to most comments I don't think Han So Hee's acting is that bad here. It deffo could be better but it's not awful. PHS acting is perfect tho and he's definitely outshining her.
At this point I honesty feel like Yi jin and Hee do end up together and for whatever reason he changes his surname and the Kim fencer that will show up in ep. 13 is for sure a red herring
