for me the motive for both nam and eun is clear and quite make sense like both said in... i don't remember which episode, if their party didn't win, all the bad things their party doing in the past might exposed in the future including the ansp one, not "might" i think, but "pretty much" gonna exposed, the opposite maybe promises to the public if they win the election they gonna do something about the 1980 gwangju movement and 1987 june uprising, something like punishment maybe?


that is just my understanding till now so... i might wrong, about the chun do hwan, i don't know how much history the writer wanna follow for this one, they never clear about this being in chun do hwan regime or not, cause again they labelled it as fiction so i don't think tied it with chun do hwan is a good comparison, again i might wrong tho, but... that's it.
