I don't like the accident plotline both in highschool and adult parts. It feels so forced and I didn't find it romantic. Also, the ex-boyfriend is so weird, I just don't care about the past romance between the FL and SML. Despite being cliche, episode 1-2 were good. But it got boring quickly in episode 3-4. It's so obvious why this drama only has 8 episodes... Because there's nothing new and nothing more happening in the plot. I'll just wait until the FL and ML confess their feelings.

I found the last two episodes really boring. By skipping through them, I could still understand what was happening.…
Agree it was boring and bland. There was nothing new about it and the accident plotline feels forced. But romcom fans will still enjoy it because it's romantic.

Some people are already getting bitter just because the male lead is single and it's apparently a female fantasy. Some insecurities are being projected in kdramas. Why are they taking romcoms seriously ๐Ÿ˜‚

the comment section is a mess. there's fewer comments about the plot. i noticed the actual reviews are getting less likes while the complaints easily get more. the people who are not even watching this drama and just hating are the ones who's keeping updated in the comment section. they're literally checking every hour lol. i also noticed some accounts don't have data, they're obviously just troll accounts. it's ok if you have complaints and you have the right to call out the homophobes, but it's been months since this drama was confirmed and it's the same topic being repetitive to the point some people are just being aggressive and easily throwing accusations to everyone without knowing the real meaning of the word. it's also disgusting how normalize the insults in here and those people don't even realize their own actions. hypocrites. it's as if arguing is a hobby to y'all and it's getting so tiring. it's so easy to just ignore if you hate this drama so much. the obsession is getting blown out of proportion, just leave.

LMAO I just find it funny that people are begging for a "realistic" ending when the whole plot is not realistic in the first place ๐Ÿ˜‚

This drama is a horror genre, it's basically just about suffering and punishment and the ending explained it well. It makes sense how it's a neverending passing of pain to each other.

Can't wait for this drama. They already finished filming this and was supposed to be released in 2023. They just postponed it and my guess is they'll probably released it in 2024 instead.

And can people just STOP talking about drugs in the comments. It's been months and the YAI already paid for the consequences. Let him rest and get treated. There are also other casts and staffs in here that deserves more support. They just got dragged but they worked hard for this drama. Hopefully it won't go to waste.

if you had any idea about his case you wouldn't be typing this comment lol. "party occassion" ๐Ÿคฃ
This is a disgusting mindset. Drug addiction and suicide should be prevented, but instead you're encouraging it. Just saying anything to defend a Korean actor who committed a crime. Yikes. But then you admitted you're a drug addict too lol. You're the one who needs to grow up and stop the BS. Go to rehab or therapy and become a proper adult.

One of the things I find amazing in this drama is how they show a woman being an abuser in a relationship. It's rarely discussed. For men, it's easily discovered since it's usually physical violence. But for women, it's like mind games so it's hard to see and believe since it's tricky. Can't imagine how Do Ha managed to endure all her gaslighting and threats for many years and when he finally broke away, he still suffers even more. From false accusations, ptsd, social isolation, etc. It's a relief that he found a genuine person like Sol Hee and started to heal with the help of her constant care, protection, love. Their healthy relationship was pleasing to see.

I also love how Do Ha is soft and kind, so different from typical male leads with traumas who are cold and arrogant. He's honest about his feelings and communicates with the female lead. He just feels real. He's one of the best male leads.

Why A gay character can't be a Villain?
that is extremely exaggerated. i've never seen kdramas with gay villains, this was the first time. the other gay characters in kdramas usually shows their heartbreak, realistic hardships and giving understanding to them. in my lovely liar, the gay villain is not a full bad guy. it was accidental and they still showed him repenting and being forgiven. anyway, anyone can be a villain whoever they are.

also, most kdrama/kpop fans are aware about the bad things in korea with all the news and dramas that aren't being hidden. korea is an extremely small country who went through a lot of crisis that's why their society is progressing slower than others. but your generalization is just showing how much you hate them. the other time you were throwing korea against japan's colonization, weeboo.

"I don't understand why this is so popular"

The top review is already baseless just by the title. Why can't people just accept that everyone has different tastes and preferences? It's normal that you'll find something you dislike while other people like it. But there's people who just want to act superior and it's annoying when they try hard to belittle the drama and compare it to different dramas just to make a point why it's bad.

This drama is obviously not a masterpiece or perfect. But it's still a good drama that a lot of people simply love and enjoy. This is more on romcom and it's targeted for viewers who want to see a healthy couple who are green flag to each other. Even if there's a murder mystery, it's not dark and they still maintain the stable romance along it. Overall this drama is lighthearted.

Those people saying the "main leads has no chemistry" are just people who don't like the actor but wants to dragged it into their chemistry. I've noticed how much people hate Hwang Min Hyun. I don't really care about him, but he's not that bad. Honestly, he's not an amazing actor, but he still did a good job for portraying a reserved, awkward, anxious guy. His character is built that way but other people just refuse to understand that.

Title Bloodhounds
I think this is first Kdrama have bro-friendship without people making it look like BL ๐Ÿ˜‚
Well, to be honest, it's because people will automatically assume men who shows affection and skinship are gay and force their BL fantasy on it. While this drama has a serious tone and it's action packed where the male leads are athletes with strong physique and personalities.

Was a bit hesitant because the ratings are usually unreasonably high if it's a drama of So Hyun. But this drama…
Most of Kim So Hyun's dramas are rated low in MDL. She only has 3 dramas with 8 ratings and this one is probably the highest one.
On My Lovely Liar Sep 20, 2023
The thing I love the most in this drama is how they reversed the gender role stereotype and broke away from clichรฉs. The male lead is the damsel in distress and the female lead is the knight in shining armor. I like the combo of the soft male lead and strong female lead, while both of them are similarly calm and mature. It's fun to see how Sol Hee is always there to protect and save Do Ha from all the bad people around him, especially with the use of her lie detector ability.

I also love the fact that since the beginning, both main leads are rich and successful on their own careers. I guess that plays a big part on why they have less misunderstandings lol. Their relationship focused more on their personalities without the interverance of their status. They're really just vibing with each other and have straightforward interactions, that's the reason why their chemistry is so natural.
On My Lovely Liar Sep 6, 2023
Mok Sol Hee is one of best female leads ever. She's not weak and damsel in distress, but she's also not badass and too feisty. She's just composed but still confident. She's on the right line. I'm amazed with all the bravery she's showing since the start and how's she's willing to take risks to protect Do Ha as always. She knows how to stand on her ground. She really had a wild life as a liar hunter and she gained a lot of experience from it. She's so cool. Kim So Hyun is doing great on her role.

I fell asslep on episode 11 finished it this morning lolThey really don't have enough materials for long season.
Lol this is so funny. You've been so negative about this drama since the start. You're not even watching at all, but you still try to keep watching it just so you can comment and complain.

There are other people who have valid complaints but you've been so obvious how much you dislike this drama. How lame.

And for the new episodes, the ceo's wife and brother only have a short minute scene so it's not much of a bother. But I think the wife cheating shows the ceo's private life and it might also show his true colors soon. While for his brother getting his money stolen, it might mean that he'll target Do Ha again and take advantage of his murder case soon. Let's just wait and see what will happen.
On My Lovely Liar Aug 30, 2023
I feel like some people forgot or don't understand that this drama has a supernatural part where Sol Hee has an ability and she uses it to different clients. That's why she solves the cases of various characters and see what's wrong even if some of them aren't her official clients (baker guy, Kang Min, Do Ha, her mom). And the mystery part with Doha's murder case, more people are involved to it who are those antagonists and it also affects his career (his ex's brother, his mom, Syaon, producer, ceo's brother, possibly ceo). They're annoying and evil, but they still have a role to play. These side characters keep the plot going where the main leads have to overcome problems and it helps their character development. They're all connected but some people don't even think about it and just call it filler or random.

PS. The neighbourhood people doesn't have a big part, but they show the positive side where they bring the main leads together and how Do Ha became more friendly and socialize through them aside from Sol Hee.
