I finally picked it back up finished the drama.. it’s wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. Thanks for encouraging me to stick with it.

Yea but Michael was very likable and a good guy. The fiancé is this is annoying and a liar.

The original is a million times better

I’m starting “Oh! My Sweet Liar”. I hope I can finish this drama. The plot sounds right up my alley.

I cannot finish a Chinese historical drama to save my life, I’ve dropped or placed on hold every one I started. Now SK historical dramas are my jam. I consume dozens at this point and many a few times.

Thailand is killing every country with their BLs followed by Japan. I would put South Korean firmly in 3rd place. I think South Korea is top for historical dramas. I’ve never really been able to enjoy Chinese historical dramas though I’ve tried watching many.

Wish it was longer so more could be explained, but still I loved it,

I called this ending as a possibilities back on like episode 4 or 5.. I’m pretty proud of myself tbh!

I have a farfetched theory.. So in episode 1 we learn that Je Moon did something to “save” Yoon Ki. We see Lee Hae In come to the hospital while mentioning her 3 shares of the company and asks everyone what happened to her son. Lastly, we learn that Min Young has had an issue with the Jin family.

What if this is a giant time loop?

My theory is that Do Joon was killed by his uncle for being in his grandfather’s favor while wanting to secure his and son’s positions as next in line. So this causes a rift because everyone thinks that the killing was an accident except his mom and Min Young. His mom removes herself from the family and Min Young dedicated her career to brining the Jin family down to honor Do Joon.

This theory includes that now that Do Joon’s original mom is dead he’ll help Hyun Woo get started at the company, thus starting the original timeline where Hyun Woo is shot by the cliff.

So while I watch I’m so nervous and keeping an eye out to hear about the mysterious 3 shares and if Do Joon is in danger of being killed too..

I know there is a book and I haven’t read yet and won’t until the show is over. Please don’t spoil!

I tried watching but couldn’t get into it… maybe I’ll spin the block next year.
