I started Graceful Family last night and i'm currently on episode 3. This drama is so good i honestly don't even feel the time passing by when watching it. The episodes seem like they're only 5 minutes. Also, the main lead is awesome! I love her.
I was very much excited to watch this drama ever since it was announced, mainly because of it's unique and creative storyline. The fact that IU, one of my favorite actresses, was said to be a lead role on it too, only made me more excited to watch it. Ever since i finished Moon Lovers, two years ago, i've felt that no other could ever compare to it. But, Hotel Del Luna proved me otherwise. It's still fascinating to me how they were able to fit, and make work, such a wide range of genres in a 16 episode drama. It goes from horror, to romance, comedy, suspense, fantasy, supernatural, a little bit of time travel, and so much more. It was very refreshing to watch this kind of storyline since it's usually not something korean dramas tend to be like. The actors were phenomenal and they truly did justice to their characters. I felt very attached to them all, especially Yeon Woo, Man Wol and Go Chung Myung. I felt every bit of sadness they felt and my heart still aches for them. But i must say, i fell deeply in love with Man Wol. The way IU portaited her exquisite character blew my mind and only made me realize how good of an actress she can actually be. She truly did shine in this role. To top it all off, the cinematography and the music made it even better. I felt like i was dreaming all through the drama. Although i do agree with the fact that the pace at the ending was a bit off and that the ending didn't seem quite fulfilling to the viewers, i definitely recommend it to anyone who really liked to watch Moon Lovers, someone who likes IU as an actress or even someone whose favorite dramas include any type of genre that's included in this one. I can't express how beautiful this drama was. This is truly a masterpiece and it's not in vain the fact that it has such high ratings.
HELPwithout spoilershow do you rank Hotel del Luna from all Hong sister drama? is it the best? is it the worst?…
I haven't seen any other dramas from the Hong sisters, although I plan to, if they're as good as Hotel Del Luna. I never thought I would be able to find a drama that was as good as Moon Lovers, that made my heart ache but be full of happiness at the same time. But i did indeed find it and it's this one. In my opinion, it's one of the best dramas of 2019 and one of the best dramas i've ever watched.
I don’t understand why Man Wol had to be punished like this, and why the deity keeps talking to her like she is and was the most horrible person in the whole world. Isn’t she a victim too, who suffered at the ends of wicked people? I feel bad for her. It’s possible that’s something we’re going to figure out too, since the story about her past life hasn’t been all told.
And the fact that she accepts the request just blows my mind!
Been there done that. Didn’t really feel the need to ask my friend for a piece of her life, especially her boyfriend. But you know, to each their own. It’s just annoying how she’s such a pushover and her friend is kinda taking advantage of that.
And the fact that she accepts the request just blows my mind!
I've been following the manga for a while and she accepted her friends request of lending her her boyfriend. I mean, she seems really shy and introverted. I feel like she's the type of person that can't say no to anyone. But still, it kind of infuriated me a little. And her friends attitude is annoying too.
So Hyun is starting to slightly irritate me. (In the beginning of episode 7) Why is she blaming Moo Hyuk for the death of Soo Ah? He's just a lawyer who was incriminated for something he didn't do, he literally had nothing to do with the whole ordeal. They both want the same thing: to solve the murder. I hope her character gets less annoying.
I truly wish for Man Wol and Yeon Woo to have closure about what happened in their previous lifes. My heart ached so much when they first met each other in current time. I really want Yeon Woo to be aware of who Man Wol is.
On the other hand, the scene between Chan Sung and his mother seemed so rushed! I still don’t understand what she wanted to hide. She wanted to hide the fact she a son? I don’t get it.
Every single character in this drama gets on my nerves. I can't even count how many times i've roled my eyes out of frustration while watching the episodes. The character who annoys me the most is the dean of students. She has a very punchable face.
I hope this drama doesn't disappoint me. It has a very interesting plot and it seems to be very intense. It's probably gonna be one of those dramas with lots of hateful characters and injustices. For now, it seems really good and i hope it continues in the right direction.

She doesn’t really get it fixed, as far as i remember. She’s just always complains about it.
