I don’t think so. My understanding is that she signed an agreement that she wouldn’t see or speak to him. Once he was older his mom gave him the paper because she no longer had any reason for them not to be together because he has now matured. I’m guessing someone like the boss or her landlady told him she was in Thailand and that’s why he was able to find her.
