I am an old cdrama fan (since 2019), In those time this formula was very few and heavily went on cute girl and nerdy guy stuffs, but there were good dramas of that time. As time went on, this formula became very popular and unfortunately I am a fan of this type of drama if they are done rightly because most of the break up reasons are quite unreasonable and the time skip feels nothing. There are very few dramas that did justice to this plot. I found some of them and rewatch them time to time. Now, just for being popular, makers and drama writers are putting anything literally anything to make it heart wrenching (but that rarely happens). Good thing is there are so many dramas that are doing new plots and they are awesome as you said TBT and LBL. Unfortunately, this break up and time skip plot is overused now.

Then why did he go her alley and told her to beg him. If he intended not to forgive her then why is he lurking around her? Its more like he is begging her to beg him. Also the drunk scene, the next episodes preview. If the girl did him wrong, then why is he going to her like that?

now I don't trust mango tv after Never ending summer. I don't think they will do a great job with this drama.

I agree with you, I was okay with him joining the company and being rivals with her, but then he showed up in her alley to (kind of) threaten her which was totally unnecessary. He is letting himself loose too much. Hoping to see a development though.

During the 10 year gap, what did Lu Xixiao study? did he study art or his family business related subject??

I totally get it. When you have your own experience watching drama can remind you of those times. But as a stranger I am very proud of you that you held up your self respect. I am huge believer that if my partner gives effort, I will do the same and vice versa. In the context of the drama, both of them gave efforts that's why I don't see Lu Xixiao as a beggar. Zhou wan also wanted shower him with all the love, but situation happened. In reality, we see this too. Efforts really matter. By the way, Hope you find peace and happiness in your life. I feel you. But both were hurted, and Its not like Zhou wan wanted to hurt him deliberately without any reason. They were at a very vulnerable state and both of them were young. Zhou wan and Lu Xixiao both love each other so deeply and both can do anything for each other. But at that time, Zhou wan couldn't do anything but leave him as His grandpa blamed her for the misfortunate happened to Lu Xixiao. And if Zhou wan didn't leave him, he wouldn't go to abroad for his betterment. Life is very unpredictable both in reality and fiction. And at that age, time feels long and decisions seems heavier. Actually kudos to all of them for going through such a hard time!

I agree with you. I am currently 18 and feelings are way strong in this time. I fell for someone long ago and I still cannot forget him. Its okay to take time to move on. And I disagree that Lu Xixiao was a beggar as the actual commenter said. Lu xixiao was afraid of abandonment and He really loved her, he also knew that Zhou wan also loved him but circumstamces were so hard for both of them and they were just 18. Sometimes, love is too hard to let go. It is different for all people.

You are right about the responsibilty of the actor and actress, but few adaptions were not great. So, that's just my concern.

It's not mainly about her visuals. It's more about her fitting into Xu Sui's vibe both in appearance and personality. Ancy is pretty indeed, but I am talking about her fitting into character. Also, the drama is not released yet, So waiting for it to actually see the results. I am not hating her visuals or her in general!!

I have also seen them in their previous work, yeah you are right about Xu Sui's appearance and her vibe, I am just kind of unsure about her. I am just worried that they might not bring out the adaption well as its my favourite novel. I have read it so many times and seeing its adaption is like a dream come true. So, Really hope that they bring out the best of this novel. Let's hope for the best!!

Actually, Xingyue is quite suited because I can imagine him as pilot and slightly flirty. All I have concern is for Xu Sui. Xingyue can act good, Zhou Zingze is well suited, I hope Ancy Deng can do justice to the pairing!

I have read the whole novel. And the story is truly impressive. I hope the adaption will be great. My only complain is Main female lead's visual doesn't give off the Xu Sui vibe. Yeah, so have to see the drama to judge it better.
