I actually enjoyed that first ep much more than I expected. I only checked it out because of ABH but I'm actually interested to continue for now

Sorry but I completely disagree. 14 YEARS he's been living away and missing important events!! The must feel so much hurt and anger and they have a right to express that to him. He didn't even think about how they might've been feeling all that time. Yes they aren't being the best but how hard did he really try to make amends?? He didn't even sit them down and give a sincere apology for not being there for them when they needed him and instead cowardly packed his bags and left with the excuse that it would make them more comfortable. I do sympathise with him but he needs to do WAY better if he really wants them to forgive him.

Not to be a downer but there's almost ALWAYS a breakup at some point in a kdrama. Especially since they go together early, it's almost inevitable. I would be 100% surprised if it doesn't happen.

My more detailed thoughts:

- Idk if it's because of the character or the actor but I am not loving the ML, I don't dislike him but he's just not exciting me at all. The main couple deffo have chemistry and their romantic scenes are good but the romance isn't really giving me much. This is the first Song Kang drama I'm watching so I have no pre-existing feelings for or against him. Maybe its the writing...

- The actual premise of the weather forecasting was cool for like 2 eps and now I'm just not interested in it. I will give props to the writer though for linking the weather situations at work with the episode's theme in a decently convincing way.

- I do like how they actually talk things though like a normal couple instead of the crazy-making misunderstandings that usually occur in dramas. Looking forward to how they are able to grow as a couple and continue to try to understand each other is the biggest reason I would be interested in continuing.

- I literally groaned internally when the ML started getting mysterious phone calls but was extremely relieved that it was resolved in those eps because I am sick and tired of useless mystery plotlines in romance dramas just for the sake of filling eps.

- The side characters are literally all just flat imo, with the estranged father/husband being the only slightly interesting one. The main interesting thing being will he be able to work out with his wife and daughter and how.

- Can her ex just fall off a cliff lol. I'm happy to see the cheating couple's relationship on the rocks and I hope they get to feel the pain and embarrassment they inflicted on their exes.

Overall this drama is not giving me the vibe, excitement or interest to be hooked weekly. It is just a big fat OK at the moment which is why I will have to put it on hold for now. There are still 10 eps and I don't want to continue and then be annoyed when the drama ends that I could've spent 10 hours watching something better. Lol I wasn't expecting to write a whole essay but I needed somewhere to vent.

I'm thinking of dropping this drama tbh...or least putting it on hold. It's just not giving me enough reasons to continue, even after 6 entire episodes.

This show has beyond a doubt exceeded ALL my expectations of it. I really hope it doesn't let me down but either way these 6 eps have been the best of any drama I've seen for a longggg time!

Idc if it's petty but I hate how these netflix subs write the MLs name as Back Yi Jin instead of Baek Yi Jin. I've never seen 백 romanised like that before and doesn't even sound like that smh
