yes have to agree...i also dropped qot after 2 episodes for similar reason...even though I like kim soo hyun. these days i have no patience for clique or bad plots, not even for my fave actors. there are 100s of great shows i havent seen yet which i'd much rather watch lol
This drama started so well that it hurt more when it plummeted into the depths of terrible writing and cliches. If you, like me, felt frustrated by the end of the first part, then do yourself a favour and don't bother with part 2. I watched it (on 1.5x speed for my sanity and time) partly out of curiosity and partly as a hate-watch and it was EVEN MORE ridiculous and full of nonsensical plotlines that I just laughed out loud at them. I love sageuk (historical) kdramas and I know they're a lot sometimes but this... this was just bad writing that made you hate the FL and ML equally. It is hilarious to me that it's rated so highly but I will never cease to be surprised by the ratings on this website.

Yes everything in the drama had a connection so I was curious. I thought that it might be a name from one of the books mentioned in the drama but since I hadn't read them all I wasn't sure. I was hoping someone else might know. I guess we won't know...

omg this!!! the subs for this drama were sooo wack! like i get not directly translating every word but this was just badddd! glad i understand enough korean to be able to know what they were really saying.
