I have seen Boys Over Flowers but I only remember bits and pieces of it. This is actually good to me. I mean the different versions all have their differences because of the different countries, but this is one of only a few Chinese dramas I can actually watch and stand. Most I can't stand the dubbing or the acting.

Watched Ep. 30 with no subs but knew just from a few words I understood what was happening, and seeing Si break down I started bawling. Watching today with subs same thing happened. At first Dylan seemed to be a bit stiff in the role but at some point he was no longer stiff and really relaxed playing this role. That episode showed that he can really act.

They have up to ep 27 subed and raw for 28-32. They tend to post the two episode each day Monday - Wednesday raw that came out that week then on Wednesday sub two episodes, then the same for Thursday and Friday.

It's like that through the entire show. I notice it more than I should, I think. It had to be freezing when they filmed this. Wang He Di always looks cold but acts through it. His ears and hands are always read compared to the rest of his face. Shen Yue doesn't look cold most of the time, she must have a ton of those hot packs in her clothes lmao.

Other versions is far worse. but it gets better. You get to watch him change so much

I am loving the show. I usually can't stand the Chinese dub in most Chinese dramas, but this one either doesn't have it in some scenes or it's not as bad as some I have tried to watch. It had to suck for the actors of this though because it was shot in the middle of winter and you can see their breath in certain scenes with the way the cameras' angled.

He will be a fellow soldier that wants to be the best soldier of them all but his rival is Mulan not knowing she is a girl that keeps besting him. Then he finds out she is a girl and the feeling of love forms. That is what I read. I believe it will still be very familiar to the cartoon but it is going to be close to the cartoon and the true history.

Soooooooooo excited for this. Loooooove the manga, own it, and really looking forward to it. Hope there is great chemistry between the leads.

so this came out on DVD April 28, 2017 and still no english subs to be found without having to go to sketchy links or to download it. Really hope it will be released with subs soon.

A group on facebook that is private I had to ask to join. There are rules in joining said group such as not reuploading the videos anywhere. I cannot give the name of that group but I found it because of the person doing the english subs was ingfakirata and info is posted on her facebook of the same name.

Mio I understand where you are coming from. I usually rate after I have finished a drama or dropped it (which is usually half way through or just can't get into the story at all). I feel we should be able to rate a show however we feel but at the same time the rating being seen by shows we have not watched be reflective of the average rating of all the episode ratings.

The person subbing could not longer post it to their page because of facebook policy and the production company. Also, people kept stealing her subs and putting them on youtube and other places claiming it as theirs, when her watermark was in the corner. So it was put in a private group instead. Just finished it.

I just finished it. It is ok. I never thought of dropping it. It has its own elements and thinking about it being done in a different country with different culture and laws is what kept me having an open mind to it. Yes the Kiss scenes are not the best but it still has good characters in it. I would not place it on par with the Korean version but it is its own adaption.

The acting and movie were really good I thought. But those camera angles and wide shots actually hurt it I feel. They were so bad and always at the wrong time. Or the times it was focused on one character walking for 2 minutes.....really not necessary. But like I said the movie was good getting past the camera and editing. Typical manga turned movie but good still.

I know that is what it says on here. Just was wondering since everyplace I can watch it only has up to episode 23 available subbed. DramaFever has up to 28 but with premium membership only. Just curious if it is the subbing groups saying when they will have it all subbed by or what.

This may seem like a silly question, but how have most people watched all 28 episodes when they haven't even all aired yet? The show isn't over till June 1st. Or did China air this everyday or 5 days a week?
