Im sorry i didnt mean to do any misleading :(. I just didn't know how to integrate him into the articles but wanted…
I actually felt the same but also gave you the benefit of doubt that you probably didn't include him cuz he has passed away, and just reading his name, reminding us of him, is really sad to many of us... His awesome effort to deliver so many great drama will always be held precious in our heart... Boku no Ita Jikan, was my first ever Jdrama and he starred in it as the main lead <3
And thank you for the awesome article, I totally enjoyed reading through it.
The drama first garnered attention with its shocking premise: “What if you start to suspect the husband you’ve…
Thanks for sharing this <3 It's a lovely read and I absolutely have nothing but praise for writer-nim, she did amazingly well with the script, absolute perfection. Flower of Evil is a masterpiece and one of the finest few dramas ever made!
Can someone give me a simple summary of what this drama is about? Generic statements gives me a headache
I have to spoil it a bit to answer your question, but rest assured. it's nothing major spoiling!
So this drama is about one guy who literally would be be fine cutting off both of his hands to uncuff himself in an attempt to smack down any guy who would raise a finger to try to hurt his beloved wife! [meanwhile she is a detective and not so much of any weakling to be saved]
Tho it turns out he doesn't think he actually loves her and thinks he has always used her for his own advantage, despite how much he actually cares about her! and then... things will change when his wife learns that this husband of her has hidden a very tragic secret from her all along! and decide to...
Aren't they releasing the OST album on CD? or any physical media? I was so looking forward to that and I was hoping I could support them and also get something tangible in my hand to keep reminiscing all the awesome moments I have spent with this drama! I was even hoping they would release 'Feel You on Vinyl! Cuz that song deserves much more! In My Heart too! Both were totally beautiful and pure!
I really don't get why people hate on Ji Won (aka. Moon Chae Won)
Some are simply saying she did a terrible thing to Do Hyun So in episode 7!
SPOILERS AHEAD!
Did you guys already forget how she got so worked up and even arrested Kim Moo Jin just because he had supposedly gotten into a fight with HER husband? She truly cares about him throughout the first 6 episode and episode 7 was where she decided to face this head on and see what evil this husband she has always loved, hides within him, and even after she did that terrible thing to him, it was clearly shown she felt bad admittedly saying "Did I go too harsh on him, no, I can't be weak, he has lied to me for 14 years straight! " After she found out her husband was Do Hyun So, and has been lying to her for the last 14 years, did she straight brought up "Let's break up?" She didn't and instead "Did you have to live this way? Give me a reason so I can forgive you, that's all I need"
I just don't really get what part of this character is so wrong! She was very fun, caring, supportive and loyal till the end! I totally fell for that courage of hers! I did hate what she did that once, it broke my heart honestly! But she already gave me many reasons to forgive her.. she was still a normal human being, who would make mistakes, get nervous and feel betrayed, We weren't in for a perfect being!
Ikr? I was pretty disgusted with her actions and finding it hard to keep watching. Specially in episode 7, no…

the thing that proved with the amnesia is he always had the deep connection with them and no matter what he will…
You seem to be asking too much from the directors, screenwriters and actors alltogether! Even tho you are asking for a mere 10 more seconds where he would remember everything! It was evident Hyun So was remembering things bits by bits, pieces after piece, not all together at once, and to remember 14 years all, he would at least need a few months, right ? and that makes it a requirement to add a new scene like what's happening after 1 year , or 6 months, but even shooting one scene is not easy feat and it's not a mere 10 seconds work! It's really a lot of work and they just though enough was enough, Flower of Evil never had too much! You could see that even with the OST album, there's only 3 songs in the entire thing, and they only played 2 of them within the series (one was used as an ending). The director must really not like the idea of having any extra/ not necessary thing in his drama, and that was one thing I LOVED about FLOWER OF EVIL.
For more happy family moments, I recommend you once re watch it all. It's totally fun to observe how they care about each even from the first scenes in the first episodes while knowing their character in full detail
I already think this drama is underrated! It was perfection to the core so how come it's not a perfect 10.0 lol!
Yep, I guess so, I even saw a review marking it as 1, 1, 1, 1 , 1 on all category ad all the review say, he disliked every episode except for its last 30 seconds! Lol it's not at all accurate nor helpful!
I refuse to believe it's over. I'm going to continue to live in the beautiful redemption story, unyielding love…
How about one whole episode dedicated to Eun Ha eating her favourite egg tart at various restaurants, telling his dad over and over "You're my most favourite person in the whole wide world"
Seems like some people are quite disappointed! The reason behind, is because they were never here for a story…
Btw I just checked your list and we seem to have really similar taste in drama, some of your top favorites are also my top favorites (Liar Game, Bloody Monday, Love me if You Dare, Incomplete Life, Signal, Misty and even Age of Youth, I find so few fans of it here) I was just curious how come you gave a really low rating to Itaewon Class? It's not because of the 2nd female lead, is it? or maybe the car accident and the ending that followed? cuz those really bothered me too but I still thought its a great drama with great music :))
