Excellence in KDrama. Amazing Friendship, the OST deserve to win the best award. Its really calm and relaxing at times and make the mood perfect to watch.

Judging from your dramatist (you have watched quite a few ones) I wanted to recommend another excellent drama (Age of Youth) and (Dear My Friend) which has similar vibe to It's Okay That is Love.

As a male fellow, actually I have been amazed by the whole experience watching this show, It's just incredible whether you are a woman or not.

I highly recommend Lipstick (a 1999 Japanese drama), anyway this drama is just amazing even thou I can not say its better but you will definitely feel they share the similarity and Lipstick is also about a few girls living together in a correction facility coping with each other despite the problems each have to deal with.

You're welcome , something similar to Healer (King2Hearts,Two Weeks), and these are great and somehow give the feels you get in healer ( of course strong leads ) Remember-War of the son, Six Flying Dragon(a psycological-thriller with lots of action, those 50 episode will pass without noticing time)
White Christmas (a highly psychological thriller)
Love Me If You Dare (As your first Chinese drama, this is somehow similar to healer the feel, the chemistry, at a slower pace)
Kurosagi (as your first japanese drama,its really good)

Is this a heavy melodrama ?

SFD is better written(so much better plot) ,great swords fighting, and a faster pace.
While Empress Ki had a really good romance story
both have great acting and music
for a melodrama fan Empress Ki is a Must watch
for a physiological drama fan SFD is a Must watch
