The choices made for the last episode (without any certain plans for a second season) completely undermined the good hope feelings this incredible story had created throughout its 57 episodes journey. Episode 58 completely annihilated everyone's good hopes & dreams as YWY was the last hope for better times ahead just like it was expressed by the 13th prince of Great Wei YS on this last episode.
I believe this was meant to be a story of hope and survival of the less fortunate, not just romance. So simply not having them end up together would have sufficed and contributed more to propagating the core beliefs of the story as established in the original novel.
This drama is technically excellent, it's just a shame that it's not memorable...
Wow, what happened with the rating? In one week, there are around 15 people giving a rating of 1. There are really…
hahahaha unbelivable! seriously reconsidering the ratings on MDL and want to give low rated dramas a chance if it's anything like what's happening to AoL...
This drama is probably not for the fainthearted as it is literally a roller-coaster of emotions, none of which conveyed by the female lead actress...for a change! Highly recommended !!!
8.9 is kind of unfair. A lot of 1 rating recently. Sign...
Yeah, I know what you mean...hopefully people will read some of the very good reviews with actual content analysis that have been posted so they won't miss this really good Chinese drama :)
I just finished episode 11 and I need to get this out of my system: Dong Min is an abusive, violent piece of garbage…
hahahahahaha exactly my thought! Her manager is the worst written friend character I've ever seen on a drama and how she put up with her abusive and manipulative behaviour was even worse to watch :/
Hummmm...it felt like that was sort of her moment, I think the writer was probably playing to their strengths and maybe trying to balance things to give them both fair screen time as on ep 26 she couldn't get a word in edgewise...
Did anyone feel like this about Ep 26???... *reveal my spoiler comment*
OMG, Ep 26 was intense and perfectly delivered by YSH!! Intensity wise, it reminded me of Gong Yoo's perfect delivery in Coffee Prince when he finally discovers that Go Eun Chan is a girl...OMG !!

Wuji's schemes are so entertaining to watch !!!
