So I'm really late to the party and I've only watched 1 episode, but is this series worth watching? I did like the 1st episode but wow there was so much going on. So I'm basically asking you all: What's making you watch this series? Strong/weaker points? etc. (I thought I would try and check out a few more episodes)
Beyond evil became one of my favorite dramas, but I agree that the second part is slower than the first. If you…
thank you so much for taking your time to reply! And I understand the drama more now thanks to your pov on it. I think I'll for sure finish this, since I've also seen more than half the drama as you said :D
so I'm on ep 12 but I don't really know if I wanna finish this drama. It started off pretty great and I even binged watched quite alot of episodes but it's kind of draggy? I do like the characters but this drama is also pretty slow and I feel like it was quite predictable/nothing really struck me as an unexpected plot twist. Is this worth watching? does it get any better? thank you in advance!
thanks for the great article! I might now pick up watching beyond evil again, I somehow didn't feel so intrigued to continue watching it and ended up taking a break but as I said, I will try to watch it again!
based on the comment section, I can tell that most people are watching this series because of Mork. I am also one of those people. I thought I was going in for a cheesy romance but this turned out to not be the truth by watching the two latest eps. I really am watching this hoping they would talk about "you don't have to change your appearance to please others" and such themes and they do have some chemistry but that's it at this point. I didn't have high expectations from the beginning but still thought it would change my mind...not sure if that's gonna happen at this point though.
this episode was quite different from the ones we've seen so far, it was more of a serious ep. I like how we're now getting more into the characters' backgrounds and the story itself is just progressing further.
I have to be honest tho and say that I don't like Aey, he really seems to have a big ego as they said and he's quite whiny, I do understand that he's been through a lot but still. Sorry but imo the scenes with him and his family + mork were...quite meh? I could say that I'm more interested in gene and sib's and tiffy and tum's story atm. Anyways, this is probably my least favourite episode so far but I do wanna know more about nubsib's backstory now!
I kind of dropped this show after seeing the first episode. I was so excited for this show! I had it on my calendar…
you should try watching the newest episode and from there decide if you want to continue watching! imo the newest episode was the best out of all of them so maybe you'll also like it :D
this episode was great! I could really feel that nubsib has genuine feelings for gene in this episode. Only me who loves gene's personality? I can kind of relate to him regarding his introverted side and I would love to be friends with him honestly haha.
The scene I liked the most in this episode was the scene when they got home from the hotel, that was when I felt that nubsib is really genuine. That scene where they laid on the floor even made me a bit teary eyed, maybe I'm just way too attached to these characters! But yeah, so far this series has been great imo! It may contain some predictable things in the end (and already may do to some) but it's making me so happy! Alright, off to trying to survive another week of drought ->>
ps. this episode was so cute :`) I adore them too much okay
I'm so excited to see more of the backstory of Shou Yi and Zhen Xuan! There's nearly none bls with an neurodivergent character so that'll be really interesting
ps. starting the protect zhen xuan squad because of - his - smile!!
all I wanna say is that, I really liked this episode and am now starting the #protectgene squad. I really wanna know the backstories to basically every character! I really do wonder what nubsib's thoughts are about gene. Nobody knew what gene looked like when he told everyone he was "wizard" (the writer behind the series) so how does nubsib really know him? gene didn't even plan on attending the casting so did nubsib take interest in him there? most likely imo
I feel like the comment section is split into three camps:1. People who expected this to be a super subversive…
wow I agree with everything you said and you said some things I hadn't thought about before! I now feel more excited to continue watching this series ^^
I really am hoping that this series will bring something new to the table, I know it's just been 2 eps but I slightly have a bad feeling already? (let's hope that that isn't the case!) I hope this series doesn't fall into the typical bl tropes/ toxic stuff and actually does the opposite!
