Love watching zhang linghe in any drama but absolutely adored the fl in this drama. The casting and execution was perfect.

Story of Kunning palace, love like the galaxy, blossom, youthful glory (song weilong’s just as handsome ), everlasting longing, fated hearts, the long ballad, love between fairy and devil, legend of the female general, ashes of love (a lil older but highly recommend). Some of them don’t have strong fls but they’re still good dramas imo.

wish i could rewatch this again without any memory..

the visuals and plot were there but the execution was terrible... with a better script this could have been so good im still disappointed

thats not even it. the novel the plot and even the title allude to the romance being passionate but im not really seeing any of that with the leave and wall scenes and the lack of physical contact. they keep talking about kissing and all that but never really show anything which makes no sense. and yes you can do no kiss scenes and ive seen dramas that do it well but it just feels so awkward and choppy in this one. also no ones saying they should heavily make out but even a few innocent kisses would've made the drama flow better.

boo why'd they cast an actress who doesn't do kiss scenes like girl.. and it's not even just the shitty kiss scenes besides the stiff hugs and cheek kisses they don't even hold hands or anything wheres the 'passion' ??! dpmo

Well i don't think you're understanding me either. Everything being said i've already thought about and i do see it from all perspectives. However, your girlfriend leaves and disappears for 6 months without contact and then when she calls you, you run back to her with open arms without feeling even a little irked over the situation? I just think no matter the reason or how much you understand or love someone, you would be upset with them even a little bit for just leaving you like that. It felt like to me he was a little too understanding in that scenario. if you get me. I do love sang yans character tho and i do see why he felt the way he did especially after knowing what she went through don't get me wrong. but i do wish we got more emotions out of him other than love and empathy in that part.

love both characters and i understand the reasoning behind it but im sorry i was hoping we'd see him be a little mad over her just up and leaving again (even if it was for a valid reason) he got over it way too fast

theres a billion dramas with fls like that out there go watch that if u cant handle fls with complexities
