By the way, do you guys think that the real Nam Shin will fall for So Bong? Is it just me who wants to see Shin…
I didn't see the line "you should have protected me too" in that way...I took it as a criticism of So Bong and the way she was exploiting him and her position in his entourage.
I felt like he was saying 'you should have done your job', maybe with the implication that she might have seen him differently if she was focused on anything other than milking extra money. In his eyes, her commitment to NS3's protection is what made her see him and like him. But Nam Shin was used by her one way or another for gain. And I think it's been that way with everyone for his whole life.
I don't condone or forgive him for a lot of his actions, I also doubt So Bong would have cared much about him even if she had been 100% focused on her guard job, but I understand him and actually feel really sorry for him.
I do think, though, that he might develop feelings for So Bong but only as an accidental side effect of a plot to snatch her away from NS3. He sees it as NS3 living his life but better, receiving better opinions from everyone than NS3, and targeting So Bong and snatching her away would be a perfect slap in the face.
I don't think So Bong would reciprocate, though. If something bad happens to NS3 (please, no!), I see the ending being similar to Reunited Worlds, where the FL lives her life missing the person who is gone without moving on.
I think Nam Shin 3 know about the kill switch already.
I also think he knows. I think he's known since he stopped the M Car and narrowly missed the truck. The slo-mo cinematography that followed seemed out of place, but panned on his face as he stared off at something like he does when he's watching recordings in his mind. I think he recognised the kill switch and saw the similarity to his own hardware.
There have been little moments since then that keep me thinking that he knows. Maibo, that smile NS3 did when So Bong cried on his shoulder and said her heart hurts, and even his conversation with Ro Ra in the cafe. I think he knows about it, and I think it's another reason why he's so attached to So Bong. Even if she's keeping it a secret, it bothers her far more than anyone else and she's fighting very aggressively for his future.
