Se Hee's character moved me so much. Seeing a robot like him cry made me go through the five stages of grief. There were some really poetic and philosophical lines that resonated with me deeply. I wish they had some more romantic moments though, like that ocean side kiss scene (best part). I tried hard to like Ho Rang and Won Seok but this couple was just too much for me, I ended up skipping a lot of their scenes altogether. Overall, 9.5/10
Peak unemployment detected in the reviews 😂 these people hating so much, with such dedication, i'm starting to think they have unlimited time and energy to waste lol This drama was worth it, all 16 episodes paid off in the end. It really was like a ferris wheel, their fate kept playing with their hearts and my heart too. Sometimes it felt like a rollercoaster, cause I was laughing so hard I had to pause and take a break.. then at times I teared up and the screen would be blurry. The suspense/thriller aspect totally delivered too. The chemistry between the leads, the way their eyes looked at one another, the yearning... peak. To describe it in one sentence: interesting blend of supernatural element like time travel in a moving romcom with a side of angst and thriller. Considering how the actors and actresses had to cover different timelines, their acting was on point. Definitely adding the osts to my spotify playlist, the songs were just so good. 9.5/10
Virginia Woolf used the term "middlebrow" to poke fun at pretentious pseudo intellectuals. People who…
THIS. EXACTLY, ABSOLUTELY, 100% THIS. Thank you for putting it so articulately, people need to get a life and stop hating unecessarily, as if it'll have 0.00001% impact. I suppose they love wasting time
I thought a drama that had stars like Kim Youngdae and Lee Sangyi was obviously going to be good before I started watching. And even as the troublesome aspects of the drama popped up in episodes 2, 3, 4, I just kept watching because I thought things would surely get better. But by the end of episode 5, I just can't waste more of my time watching this. I didn't want to rely on the comments, but turns out they were right, this isn't a good kdrama. 6.5/10
realistic take on corporate life, with all its flaws and good sides. loved Lee Jun Hyuk's character as well as his acting. wish Euntae had some romance to his life outside the office though. solid 8
the start was very strong! actor kim young kwang was MADE for the third generation chaebol role, his face and height and vibes are all perfect for it. chae soo bin looked so pretty, especially with that wavy hair, she would nail a korean, petite version of princess merida. a lot of their scenes had great chemistry. overall, while it might not be some mind-blowing masterpiece, it is sure to be a fun series to binge over the weekend. also, the actor and actress playing na bo-bae's brother and sister are so underrated! they got me really interested
had so much fun watching, my cheeks hurt sometimes from smiling too hard. even cried a bit during ep 9. stellar performance from lee junyoung, and the plot kept twisting and turning so things were interesting right upto the end. dunno why people are saying ending was bad ngl. solid 9-9.5
Apart from the story, I personally think Lee Jun Young deserves a Baeksang nomination for his performance here.
i know right! ep 9 actually made me cry. insane performance, im glad i started watching this for lee junyoung. i know he's in the military now but he better get every single award possible and on the big stage
episode 9 did it for me- tears streamed down my face man. it was too much to bear. started watching this for lee junyoung and he did NOT disappoint. exceeded every expectation i ever had. he better get every freaking award possible for this
ULTIMATE fake dating, office (ceo) romance, comedy, adpated from a webcomic. they seriously did everything right and i just kept clicking on the "next episode" button. kim sejeong is a great actress, there's no doubt after watching this. both couples are sooo cute. secretary cha and president kang are both absolute eye candy. i need a season 2
"cherry blossoms after winter" and other older korean bls ran so that recent korean bls like "the prosecutor's proposal" could walk. the leads are cute and the story is unproblematic with no annoying exes and no frustrating third act breakup kind of drama. so watch this drama, have fun and make sure yall support the author who wrote the manhwa as well as the actors, director, staff
People complaining that she's ignorant and a descendant of thieves are so unbelievable.. like just be logical and think for a second, how many of us really know about the life and history of our great-grandparents? Her great-grandfather was a doctor who gained fame at that time so people were able to connect the dots, but imagine how many other collaborators, who aren't famous, must have offsprings who are able to live without this "descendant of thieves" label. If you really wanna blame someone 4 generations down, by that same logic everyone in SK should be investigated for their family ties and publicly ostracised.
Even korean constitution bans a person's relatives having to suffer legally and publicly because of their wrongdoings. So why are they being like this? Why should she have to suffer even after she apologised and owned up to it? What more do they want from her- should she offer herself to the guillotine??
