Just started it~ If anyone is wanting to start this go for it. This drama occurs in a time period 100 years from ours. Japan's society today is very different from ours, imagine 100 years back. I can already see this drama & it's feminist & rebellious ideas emerging from our MC. (There is one thing that makes me uncomfortable in this drama, you'll know it as soon as you start it...)
It’s probably more tightly written because it’s 12 episodes. Most kdramas should be between 10 - 14 episodes…
oh i 100% agree with you, on like half of my comments i'm always saying most kdramas could be SO GOOD if they clipped the by a couple hours, some more than others. i feel like they're more memorable & special that way too. when i feel a drama is draggy & boring & unnecessary that just ruins it for me completely.

The this is when Songhwa and Ikjun are waiting at the doc we clearly see the number 1 on the door. I noticed it but didn't get into theories. But some people did. They say it represents that they were each other's first love. Actually it can be true cause they really focused on that sign.
Another thing is that Songhwa still has the scrunchie after 20 years. You can see it right after the flashback when they are playing. I also noticed it but thought it was a different scrunchie.
Also when Dr.Jang's best friend says "If he really liked you he would have came to see you." It may be foreshadowing to Ikjun.
And the coffee scene. When Dr.Ahn asks her if she wants coffe, Songhwa says that it would be nice. And 4 seconds later Ikjun comes with a coffe in his hand and we see Songhwa looking at the coffee(you know that scenes when they want us to notice).
And lastly Go Ara cameo was not for nothing. He chose Songhwa over her.
usually for EVERY SINGLE drama im like UGH make it shorter, too draggy, too much filler, random plot & misunderstandings just to fill for time etc, THIS IS THE EXCEPTION. WHY IS THIS 12 EPS. I KNOW THERE IS SEASON2 BUT I CAN'T WAIT. I LOVE THIS SHOW & I KNEW I WOULD CUZ OF THE DIRECTOR+WRITER BUT OMG :(

yes sis!!! at first i was like i hope it's not TOO melodrama where it's slow & too dramatic and where it takes too long for the FL to be badass & fight back NONE of that in this, she remains mature, but she attacks and defends herself. Hope you love it as much as I do!!!
