Flix Patrol says it's second in Taiwan right now, but maybe it did before today. I'm not sure tho. *Wait, yes it does say it hit first yesterday! Sorry lol.
yeah as long as the script holds up and delivers on the plot/characters/pacing then i'm also happy
Yes, definitely have to maintain script quality. Twelve Letters, for example. I would have liked at least one more episode at the end lol, but other than that it was the perfect amount of episodes, imo.
The parents were insufferable. I can't imagine having to grow up with them. They were each unbearable in their own ways, but I think the father may have been worse than the mother. I just can't imagine having a father that spineless. It was so frustrating to see how pathetic this character was in that regard. Anyway, overall I enjoyed the show, but it was definitely trying at times to get through. And by that I mean scenes with the parents lol. Would have liked a longer reunion at the end between FL and ML, but we got what we got. Episode 21 when they had their day of fun as a goodbye to each other was my favorite, I think. Good acting by everyone and worth a watch.
I love that China seems to be embracing shorter episode series more. People seem to mostly be split on whether they prefer more or less, but I hope the shorter trend continues. Anyway, this sounds like it'll be good.
Mythological creatures that are believed by the Northern people to burn all living beings. ML used this belief to scare the enemy. He had pigeons painted red to imitate them. Must have also put something on them to react to the flaming arrows the way they did.
