You're welcome. And yes, he's annoying at first, but he redeems himself. I wouldn't say he has many scenes, and yes he does something in an attempt to sever their bond, but again, he redeems himself.
No need to apologizeβit's perfectly fine to ask questions! The misunderstanding about the hairpin gets clarified in episode 14. As for when they officially become a couple, that's in episode 17. And yes, you should absolutely keep watching. It's a lovely show, and the wait for what you're looking for is well worth it.
The final episode was a little weird and disjointed. Weird also not to have Mudan pregnant or them with kids considering…
This. I thought it was an odd choice not to include that, but not much time passed from the battle to the last ep, right? I guess they just want people to assume they'll get around to having them eventually.
I love Li Xian and Yang Zi acting together as a romantic pair, but I think for their next project together (π€) I'd like to see them in a different dynamic. A show/movie as siblings, or something else of that nature.
So did they not actually get a divorce? They both signed the release document, but they keep saying they're still married. So did they tear up the paperwork, or what happened here?
I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending, but overall, the second half of the show was wonderful. I'd give it an 8.5-9/10, and a 10/10 for Yang Zi, Li Xian, and everyone else's performance.
