Am I the only one who really liked Show Me Love? lol There was barely any toxicity, if any. They supported each other in the paths they were taking. Their lives didn't just revolve around each other. Their family and friends were important to them too and were super cute. For its time, it was a breath of fresh air from all the doom & gloom, toxic behaviors and unhealthy romances.
Love Bully was not great. I felt like it was forced & rushed to happen in time for Pride. It was still ok but would have been better if held off for later. I love Change though. Whether you like Club Friday stories (for what they are known for) or not, they've always treated the LGBTQ+ characters the same as the het characters, if not better.
I love mystery/thrillers and glad we're finally getting GLs w them. I'm excited for the director - very talented & total sweetheart & TV Thunder who has already done lgbtq stories, including one w a trans main character & asexual support character. What a dream collab.
Engfa has already proven that she is a great actor, some even saying she is one of the best Thai actresses among her age group. Charlotte used to be terrible but has gradually improved and has been working with one of the best acting coaches in Thailand for this series (Although Becky was never a bad actor like Charlotte she did have a huge improvement in her acting skills from gap to the loyal pin, so I'm hoping Charlotte will manage to show a big improvement too).
Their previous projects were also bad both in writing and direction so a lot went wrong that was out of their control, compared to Petrichor that is based on a great book and has good directors and a good budget. Their previous series gave them so little to work with. Having read a little of the book I think their characters will suit them.
I see the comments about that, and was wondering how people got that idea!?
well maybe cosider that something's wrong with YOUR interpretation if most ppl can clearly see it not just through the story but also the very queer coded visual language but you two don't π y'all either lack some literacy bc you've not consumed enough queer media to know how the coding works or are just straight af
cant wait
