i am so obsessed with this show, i think it's the best gl i've ever watched. the plot, the chemistry, the music, the acting, the visuals — everything is perfect!

I know planoy is a controversial figure in the GL scene right now, and from what I've heard I am staying away from the novels, but I can't deny every one of her adaptations has been incredible. I think a general issue is the overuse of the same tired tropes like male antagonist, disapproving homophobic parental figures, rich people, toxic relationships. R4U separates from some of those, and by incorporating scifi/fantasy, it does stand out as great example of more storytelling possibilities in the genre moving forward.

real, companies need to see that there are more GL authors out there than just Chao Planoy (they are literally adapting every single one of her novels). 😭 But then again, it's all about the hype. take Reverse 4 You for example, it's so underrated and yet so good, and people aren’t hyping it, and the rating... istg. We need more series like that. Thankfully, we’re getting Reverse With Me after this...

This is so underrated

I’m not gonna lie, I haven’t been interested in many of the GLs coming out but this one is really good! For one, the story and the effects are amazing. I’m not sure if Netflix helped with their budget but if they did then you really see it in the quality.

The actresses are my favorite tho. There’s lots of depth to the characters without overstepping the line. You can see all the emotions on their faces. Especially for a cold character like Four, it’s nice that she shows more than grumpy pouting and nonchalance all the time. It’s very refreshing to see as a grumpy/sunshine lover.

Vivi is also soo cute. I hope she comes back next episode cus she’s that ICON.

Yea, she did feel like a filler character. She was also pissing me off with the grandma thing. Do I just forget all the pain and trauma you caused me (even up until her death) because you're about to die and we're related? Be so serious. Don't let relatives get away with bad behavior because of blood. What would've happened if Neung didn't stand up for herself? We know the old lady wasn't going to hold herself accountable..

I know right,the grandmother acts like a narcissist.She would never admit her wrongs,and Sam is enabling her behavior.

gl genre doesn’t deserve this shitty problematic series, sorry. grooming and other thing aside how is this not awkward to yall that both her parents confessed to the woman. eww

The reviews had me convinced that this series would be fantastic, but I ended up feeling let down. I understand that tastes vary, but for me, it simply didn’t work.
