Lots of people are gonna disagree, but I liked the ending. This was fine but forgettable...until that ending YZ…
I loved it.

They each got what they wanted--she holds power in her own right and he holds her love, without the constant threat (and annoyance) of concubines.

He never wanted to be emperor; he just wanted her to love him. And she does.

The chains were overkill, though.

I think what you have is Parts 1 and 2 of the first video (your parts 1 and 3, which are from DramaBox as a single video titled "Thorns Beneath the Veil.") Your Part 2 is "The Story of the Woman in the Palace," which has an entry here on MDL.

I'm not sure if Part 3 is released yet.
