Wow! What a rollercoaster of emotions, plots and literal drama. I'm glad I gave this a second shot, the acting is well executed by most if not all cast members and the story is different, it brings a fresh outlook to the typical Chinese predictable drama. Well done!
The prequel to this drama was amazing but this drama with the same leads is just a waste of my bloody time. No romance, no comedy, no intimacy, overall no chemistry. Totally overrated and that is why I'm giving this drama a disappointing 5.
The viewer anticipates from the beginning that there's gonna be a sad ending, and that's what this drama is mainly about, sadness!! There's very little romance and a lot of heartbreak. The acting is well executed by both lead actors and deserve all the praise for their stellar performances. If you are a fan, you must watch it, but if you are looking for a 'feel good' drama, this is not it.
