Not sure if it's a separate test because of that 1 low vision eye but it is noted on his license that he has to wear a specific type of glasses to drive. Every one here has to pass an eye test to get or renew license (every 10 years) and certain things will be noted on it as a condition, my next renewal next month will have must wear glasses at all times while driving ,good old old age catching up with me lol.
