Undoubtedly the best BL drama I've seen so far. Firstly, finally we can see interesting characters in such a type of drama, as normally in Taiwanese BL dramas, for an unknown reason to me, the characters look as if they were mentally retarded. Here, at length, we can see a mature character of a charismatic university professor who is capable of making reasonable and courageous decisions (remarkable acting). Also, I like the fact that another guy, a student, possesses quite fresh, interesting nature and he's not like these usual passive characters, weak and feeble-minded in Taiwanese BL stories.
The chemistry is really at the point. The main cast is unimpeachable, and also I have to say that it's one of these real rare cases in an Asian drama when a child seems credible and sympathetic (another example would be "Zenkai Girl", not very good as a drama but really nice talking about the role of children).
Also the story is much more mature and sensitive when we are used to see in such dramas. I was really surprised to see such a gourmet character as a no iconic professor to be the main character in a BL story. All in all, an extremely charming show ;)

An absolutely amazing psychedelic experience blurring any palpable outlines of the reality or, in other words, a bright illustration of the ambiguity of our reality and of the choice we have to choose the type of reality we feel close to our hearts.
All the time I was watching the drama I was feeling like intoxicated, I even couldn't get rid of the goosebumps. However it was a wonderful experience: surreal but also introspective and capable of reminding some philosophical concepts one knows but often forgets.
The storyline consisted of the main intrigue (the srongest point of the drama) and some sporadic detective episodes (very traditional and probably the weakest aspect of the drama). Although many times the events reminded a traditional detective, the main story never failed to captivate.
The acting of Jung Kyung Ho and Park Sung Woong was absolutely amazing: convincing and delicate, undoubtedly, above the average in the kdramas.
Although the soundtrack didn't damage the atmosphere, considering the quality of the drama could be better. Also, in spite of the wonderful experience you have while watching the drama, the strongest point of it is the intrigue and the psychedelic efects which are the strongest the first time you feel them, so it's not the type of dramas you usually will choos to overwatch many times.
However, its a drama with a strong impact witch doesn't leave you indifferent.

To tell the truth I have a really ambiguous opinion about this drama. If I didn't know that it's based on a novel, I would say that it's a clear copy of Goblin: a similar supernatural love story of a woman and a supernatural being united by the fate, a bromance between two supernatural beings living in the same house but actually being enemies (incomparably more charming and subtle in the case of Goblin), the atmosphere, etc. In such a situation I must say that Goblin has a much higher quality in all aspects (including the acting, undoubtedly). But... I've give ten for the acting in this drama. Why? Well, I've never been a fan of Lee Seung Gi, he always seemed to me a bit too much immature but here his character is almost impeccable. Also I must say that there are quite a lot charming, impressive, unexpected moments in this drama which don't let you simply drop the drama. Somehow you keep remembering its atmosphere, some moments, the acting... So I resign and admit that I really enjoyed it ;) (although if there are quite a lot of scenes with an akward humour... :/ )

Well, it's a really charming jdrama with a good cast. To tell the truth, I'm not a fan of Japanese absurd comedies but the characters here and their friendship are represented in a very colorful way, although, let's be frank, the main strength of this drama is a duo of two of the most charismatic Japanese actors: Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamapi. However, they are really great here and the chemistry between them is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful bromances in the jdramas I've ever seen. Well, the character of Horikita Maki here often seems quite annoying but somehow all the time you can feel a cozy atmosphere between the main characters.
Talking about the story, it's an usual school story with a bit of bullying. Nevertheless, the good point of it is that the characters (especially Kamenashi's role of a popular guy) are reflected with really convincing doubts and confusion. The weakness of this cool guy seems realistic and the improving of his pusillanimity quite well developed. So, it's simply refreshing watching this drama.

Ok, I've seen it so many times what it's obvious the only possible rating of my part is 10. It's just that the drama has an intense, dark and profoundly touching charm. There are many few Korean dramas with such a captivating melodramatic plot and equally few cases of such a chemistry as Ji Sung's and Hwang Jung Eum (fortunately, both of them reunited in "Kill Me Heal Me" and I couldn't say where they were better, as they really managed to play absolutely different characters with an amazing naturalism).
I love the aesthetics of painful beauty laying in the relationship of the leads, an interesting development of the characters and another wonderful feature of this drama: the supporting plot disgorged into the integrity of the drama with an absolute naturalness. There are a lot of brilliant dramatic scenes and somehow one can admire it as a good cocktail.

The story is incredibly well written, there are much more maturity then in a regular kdrama, the plot is really captivating, and the cast is wonderful (to tell the truth I was really impressed by Yoon Sang Hyun because of his absolutely brilliant and touching acting, especially when even without talking, only with his eyes, he was capable of transmit powerful emotions), only there is one disadvantage: Lee Jong Suk. I know that he's famous because of his face and I really have tried to get used to this guy because he's one of the most popular Korean actors and I'll have to see him but, somehow, in such a good, unusual drama and with such a flawless acting as Lee Bo Young's and particularly Yoon Sang Hyun's, it seemed unbearable to me see all the time the inexpressive Lee Jong Suk's face with the same insipid emotion of discomfort. Well, the true is that about the chemistry between him and Lee Bo Young we also shouldn't speak because such doesn't exist. And it was really strange to see the deep connection and attraction between the female lead and male second lead, while the main couple was absolutely forced (also, these silly typical Korean reactions when the male lead wants to kiss the girl more passionately and she doesn't let him "cross the boundary"... all this relationship was the only unbelievable and annoying element). However all the rest has made me such a good impression that the only evaluation I can give is 10.
