btw i skipped all the scenes once they start talking about wedding, marriage, or whatever they call it.

well.. i was interested because the topic is about hospitality, but after done with 6 episodes all i got is only freak pre-wedding.
Idk what's going on in China mainland; are there still a lot of strict parents? how can you be so shameless and begging for the sake of meaningless wedding? why?

i think 'cause in asian culture and society, age gap is still a big deal. especially when female is the older one than male.

like so many chinese dramas have done.
even with the gap 50 years older.

watching chinese dramas these days is like watching kids play in the ground.

-no maturity
-raw acting skill
-and visual above everything which is a bad news.

haha.. i mean it's okay if she took it for herself but she also influences TY.

the only thing i hate about the story of the drama is:

- Tang Ying is surrounded by bad influence when it comes questioning of romance relationship; her little sister, ex-tutor, clients, new and her old boss.

it makes me to tell her to go away from that circle. especially her sister, she needs to book a therapy session because that girl is absolutely mental and i think she can go nowhere in romance relationship with her emotion.

it took many episodes for the demon to get back his power.
i think that's the reason.
and after episode 4-6, i feel like going nowhere watching this drama.

it has promising start, but after along the way i feel there's something off about this drama.

the FL's character isn't portray a feminist but i'd rather call it as a "career woman", because the terms of feminism too subjective for some reason.

you can choose only one, denial or stupidity? but damn chang zheng gf eat it all.
and her job is a lawyer?
i can't imagine what happens in real life when you got the problem and ask her to defend you.
it's gonna be the worst day in your life.

I CALL THE DRAMA "ANTI THESIS OF ROMANCE C-DRAMA IN MODERN DAY"

it just need 12 episodes to deliver.
why 40 episodes?
plot holes everywhere.
such a waste of talents.

i call this drama "COMPETITION TO BE IRRATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR"

and at least kdrama don't need 40 episodes for such a drama with a lot of plot holes.

you should take a look to "FOR SUCH AN ORDINARY SCENE AND PROBLEM".
and i don't care at all about the topics, is it negative or positive? go on.. as long as they make it properly, but c-drama?????
and the worst c-drama in modern day i ever watched is called "LOVE IS FATE" starring Vin Zhang, you go watch that c-drama and find one k-drama worse than that, if you find it i'll change my mind.

how many times i have written this every time i have watched chinese drama.
*most chinese dramas are "OVER-DRAMATIC" for such an ordinary scene and problem.

so far i just found one c-drama that fulfill my expectation.
the drama is called "FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT" and i think everyone who works in c-drama industry should take it as standard before they go to make a drama.
or another drama almost fulfill my expectation is "MEET YOURSELF".

If you haven't watched "Meet Yourself" then give it a go first.
In my opinion it's really well written and Crystal Liu's acting was superb in this drama.

It's not pure romance and the drama has retro style.
