WHAT WAS THAT??? LOL. For some reason that name change makes me think of "Bros Before Ho's", which may have actually have been a better name option. I AM SO GOING TO WATCH THIS
I'm pretty interested in being a writer of some RL drama love type column entries with background lead ups (history in anime/why I started a series/etc) They'll probably involve alot of RL reference and stuff like that? Like how a drama fit with me at a certain time/why i loved it/how it affected me & led onto similar series.
As far as Be Strong Geum Soon is concerned, I think MIL #1 Jung Shim actually does grow to love Geum Soon alot. There are scenes in the story where she tries to do nice things for GS & feels bad for her, but then covers it up/hides it as if she's ashamed to giving away her grief for her dead son (like she feels guilty for letting it go?).
In the end I believe JS really did love GS in her own way, and toward the end was more concerned about losing her as part of their family (along with her grandson) than trying to stand in the way of GS overall happiness.
The wedding scene at the end summed it up for me greatly - the reluctance of the parents in law to part with her, but the love they felt for Geum Soon as a member of their family despite the non-blood tie, I really thought they accepted her as an actual family member.
WOW.... Thanks for the article, I was a little confused reading elsewhere with other writers peppering opinions in. I look forward to more updates on this, I wish one of my fave actors is innocent here but this is so messed up!
I haven't seen Twins Effect, but I must check it out. I've watched the other two twice. LOL knowing my moods I just would have swapped the nights around for Heavenly Forest & Twins Effect... Sisters for me would be a perfect pickup before a new week!
